So, we have Kenny the Adventurer, the conservationist, the story teller, MacGyver (picnic table windbreak), camp fire chef (with instructions), ice fisherman and believer in Big Foot. How much more exciting can this get! Awesome video! Take care, safe travels.

As a kid growing up in Northern Maine, I use to spend all my days playing outside in the woods. I remember vividly hearing tree knocks and having rocks wiz by me and I’d be completely alone. There was also that feeling that someone was there watching, but no one was ever there. This was over 30 years ago, but the memory has stayed with me all this time.

We saw Bigfoot on 3-24-22 at about 10pm just North of Cuyuna Rec Area on Highway 6 before Emily. Turned a corner and in the break of the treeline a Bigfoot was standing. We just knew right away what it was... There was no mistaking it! Way too tall and too broad of shoulders to be anything else.

My family had a cabin on Little Thunder Lake for many many years. I was a small child growing up into my teens before they sold it and built another in Hackensack. We were there every single weekend and week vacations every year. We never once had any sightings or hearings of a bigfoot...EXCEPT one time!! Me and my grandfather, mother and 2 brothers were quietly bobber fishing at the very secluded last bay on the lake.
Beautiful, clear, sunny summer day. Out of nowhere we heard a very loud "scream" - several. We all froze. It was a sound that none of us ever heard before. It sent terrifying chills completely through your body. My grandfather motioned (nobody dared talk) to me to pull up the anchor. We were gone! It took a long time before we went that far to fish again. That was at least 55 years ago. Its feels like yesturday. My mom and both brothers recently talked about this. We all clearly remember this day.

    • @rod6666
      @rod6666 6 месяцев назад +4

@@KennyOfAllTrades We loved both places, however, I have to say that I liked Little Thunder much better. It was spring fed, cold, clear reddish in color. You could see straight down quite a way-sometimes 20 feet if the conditions were right. Back then, (1970-1990), huge northern pikes, many good size crappies and sunfish. Back when we had our cabin, one whole side of the lake (which was probably 3/4 of a mile long) was part of the Chippewa National Forest. Therefore protected land. No one could build on it. It was a great lake, only, maybe, 25 cabins on it at the time. Very peaceful. Except for the loons who liked to hold lengthy conversations in the middle of the night...all night. Lol.

Still waiting on the cheesy artichoke/spinach bread, but boy oh boy you sure delivered on that meatloaf!
BF wasn’t in the house, because if he was, there is no way he could have resisted that Bacon Bomb!
My Dad built the set for the town in the opening scene of Jeremiah Johnson starring Robert Redford. In Utah.
He and a friend spent the weekend building out the sheriffs office with bunks for the rest of the building crew.
They had just settled in when they heard a low woop woop, just like you described.
My Dad, who was a retired sheriff, had no problem investigating the sound.
He walked around the building and was hit by a stench that almost brought him to his knees.
He hollered and something else hollered, and with a sound of much scurrying, he hightailed it back for his rifle.
Mind you, I only got this story from my Dad after getting him drunk as a skunk.
He would never talk it about, because he and his friend stayed up all night long because they were both so scared.
The visitor continued to walk around the outside of the cabin.
My Dad was a sheriff in Las Vegas during the 60’s…and there was only ONE thing that had ever scared him …that encounter.
    Yes please to ice fishing!
The sunset was glorious and I could feel the chill through my bones. Brrrr!

Hi Kenny! ❤ thanks again for another AWESOME video!!! 🎉 LOVE the Bigfoot talk and attention. We're planning to go to the Remer Bigfoot days (will camp close) in 2024. We're in rural MilleLacs co..hubby heard a blood curdling scream out here on a very foggy night in early March 2008 while stepping out for wood stacked near house. I'm the longtime believer and he used to make fun of me..until that night scream..he's on board now because it was not a bear, cougar or faked..it went thru him. Good job on the meatloaf! Love the ice fishing you do 😊. I was impressed with the fire ring blockade. I went out walking my German shepherd everyday in that horrible wind and cold..we didn't get the snow hear though. This week looks like summer 😂 makes me want to go camping!!!

Hi Kenny, one of your very best segments! What could be more interesting than the unknown & unproven? I live in a area also that is reported to have Sasquatch also. Years ago we had several Sasquatch sightings along with footprints left. I think the reports ended maybe to Sasquatch might be nomadic or the previous reporters became subject to ridicule.
UFO's use to be held in the same category but after the 2022 Congressional Hearings on UAP's (UFO's) I think that has changed. When Fighter pilots and the people with credibility beyond reproach testified to their existence. There was also testimony that at one time the Government was in possession of a "Biologistic Lifeform" found in a crashed UFO. I think simply put; we don't know what we don't know until it's discovered.
Hope you and the girls had a good Thanksgiving Kenny. Things were pretty "Thanksgiving Normal" here Lol!!! Four of the six Grandkids and two parents got Strep Throat, the oldest son from Ohio had his four kids, two Golden Retrievers loaded in his van to head back home shut the car door on his hand...........one broken finger with a nail broken in half. He said it was a long drive back to Ohio.............I'll bet!
That was a awesome looking Meatloaf Kenny! You're becoming the Bushcraft Gordon Ramsay! The cheese in the meatloaf had me drooling! Then the bacon.............wow!!! You did a great job of lacing the bacon strips.
I'm all for a ice fishing episode! I'm all for anything including fishing.
Thanks again for bringing us along Kenny!

Thank you Mark, I appreciate that. The cool thing is you can find these old campers in good condition and not spend an arm and a leg. This camper is 20 years old. I paid 6 grand for it. I had the camper in my 2008 Silverado 2500 for a few years. It handled ok. I bought the 2015 because I wanted a diesel, and this truck was at the dealership with 90k miles for 28 grand. It was only 3 years old at the time. I know that's a lot of money! But I'm hoping this truck lasts 20 years. I'll drive it until the frame rusts in half! My point is you can get into an old camper and a dependable old truck and drive the wheels off it while loving life. That's my dream!! One day Im gonna drive the old Arctic Fox off into the sunset and not look back.
