I played a bunch of Ana last night, and I was doing so poorly and was so off my game I got flamed by several teammates and almost uninstalled for good. But this video is a reminder that I'm still learning and that I have a ways to go, and that I've also come a long way from getting constantly picked in the first 30 seconds of the match by dives and snipers, not to mention my 38% accuracy. If it weren't for ml7's guides, I'd be so lost :, ) all that's left is practice, but until then, thanks for all your help!

Honestly as basic as this tutorial is (for people who have played the game for a while) , I think it's a good sign that blizzard is supporting the community and the content creators who keep that community going. The info is spot-on, the production value is stellar, and considering OW2 is around the corner this will definitely come in handy to the large influx of new players. She's not anywhere near what she used to be unless she ults, however... She is still a very scary frontline pick, and I say that as a GM Ana/Widow/Ashe. That armor buff is powerful. She deserves to be called raid boss, even if its when she ults lol

tbh ml7 actually made me kick myself in the ass after being too insecure to play ana, especially in comp :') surprising how much it can inspire u to see a really good player and to think 'woah, i wanna be that good' (not that ill ever come close lmfaooo)
I think too many people focus on aim and having to do a ton of things. If you just play Ana slowly and know when are the good times to use her abilities, anyone can pick her up in comp with a bit of practice. The real problem is when less experienced players try to do too much at the same time with Ana, and then lose focus on what goes on around them. Key is, play simple heroes fast, and complex heroes slow. That's how you adjust to them
@@Real_MisterSir i think my biggest problem was panicking back then, when i just picked her up, everyone told me to switch bc im terrible n it really discouraged me, but idk someday i was just like yk what? fuck them. played her more and discovered ml7 and actually learned ALOT from him, took the tips and went and practiced. now shes my best hero, unless i had no sleep and i cant aim :D its alot of practice and a good mentality. and with time, alot of shit clicks. i really agree, u gotta take it slow. ana is not easy, and if u learn step by step ull eventually be alot faster bc ull have the overview and u dont get overwhelmed and tunnelvisioned.
The auto aim function with Ana on console is a real catch 22. It makes it way easier to heal teammates, but it's really hard to reliably hit sleeps and offensive shots. I keep going back and forth with the sensitivity on it.
Great video and collection of videos, your tips tricks and advice are all top notch. The problem I have is playing at half you SR, DPS and Tanks just don't take healing into consideration other than they should be pocketed. Honestly, I think there are players out there that think they can be healed all the way across the map and through walls. I think due to the lack of accuracy by all players at lower levels, its freeing in a way, players feel liberated to try risky positioning because it can sometimes pay off. This makes it hard to play most healers at lower ranks more than anything. I don't know if you are looking for idea's for video's. But a series I would like to see would be for Tanks and DPS on how they can play to get the heals they need.
Only criticism with this video is I wished it had more numbers. Like how much damage her bullets do. How much they heal per shot. How much damage her nade does to enemies. Etc. still a great vid nonetheless
Especially in lower ranks, i think alot of new, or unexperienced anas fail to realize in most situations just how bad it is to nano first in an ana v ana support styles. Ana one of the best kits to counter a nano boost, so when you nano against me first, I sleep your nanod rien, anti him, and then I counter nano and wipe your team. I'm a high plat ana and I have to teach other anas this every day in game chat after matches.

My team found a great solution to this, apparently the best option for an exposed Ana in the backline, is to play her in the frontline!

I would have picked rein as a good support partner. Decent nano target when dealing with a crowd, and sleep dart/pins are free kills.
