To each his own, for my taste it looks dated and kitschy. And the fake grass is tacky.
It’s setup how the current owners want, in what looks like a practice field for athletics. What if an athlete owned the home and wanted to practice on “fake grass”? Did you mean turf? A common field type for pro footballers.

@@zaphod2 it’s no different from having a home gym. What are you not understanding. I’m sure you can see the 12+ acres of actual grass surrounding the property, and a small section of turf carved out for exercise. There’s even equipment sitting on the exercise portion. Wow.
And it’s not that common in the USA at all. High traffic areas like some sports stadiums use it. People in apartments use it on their balcony for pets, some use it in small yards where landscape equipment may not fit properly, or can’t grow grass properly due to shade. But it’s not widely used to replace grass.
It seems you are using your comment to criticize the USA rather than understand why things are done the way they are. What’s next? The house is built with sticks? Haha

I like the home but there are security concerns for a home so OPEN and spacious. Not sure how far the front gate is in the front and intruders can come from the woods in almost any direction. Nah...

Nothing against the relator this property, or this presentation which is very professional. This estate is definitely worth the 14 million in S. Florida, New York, Nothern Jersey, Colorado or California - you bet! However, in Davison County, NC there 3 maybe 4 possible buyers out of the Charlotte metro area. Even in the hot housing market in Central NC, It will end up selling well south of 8 million. Good Luck, great presentation!
You think only 3 or 4 people in Charlotte would be potential buyers? Out of the many many football players, basketball players (current and retired), and financial industry executives?
I think the floor for this home is $8M. It won’t sell well below that at all. The land has value (you aren’t getting 13 acres within 30 minutes of city center in any of the places you listed). At 250k/ac, you’re missing at least 3M in land value excluding the residence.
