Explore the Olympic Museum
The Olympic Museum is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, with an incredible view overlooking Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) and the Swiss Alps. It's just a short walk from all of the main Lausanne attractions, which makes it a definite "can't miss" experience. The museum is full of memorabilia, historical information, and interactive displays. It's also full of class trips, so be aware that you will likely experience multiple interruptions by kids, seemingly without supervision, pushing past for "their turn".

This tour will take you through the grounds of the museum, then we'll enter the main lobby and begin to explore the 3 floors of the museum. Starting on Level 1, we'll see learn about the ancient history of the Olympic Games, and their revival in 1894. Then we'll walk our way through the evolution of the Olympic Torch before learning about the lasting impacts the Olympic Games have on their host cities.
Next we'll head down to Level 0 to get in touch with the games of the Summer and Winter Olympics. This floor if packed with amazing memorabilia that's sure to unlock some hidden memories!
Then it's off to Level -1 where we'll get into the Olympic Spirit. Try your hand at the many interactive games before admiring the Olympic Medals from all of the past Games. Cross the finish line, grab a souvenir at the gift shop, and marvel about your experience in one of the best museums (in our opinion) anywhere.
