I’ve arrived in Atlanta 1 day after the Olympic games. I love it here but disappointed at the same time. I’m disgusted by Lance-Bottoms leadership, a ton of potholes, lack of a modern mass transit infrastructure, too much identity politics which caused the city to decline. I want leave and move to Tokyo.
Funny you should mention that, because other than the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Summer Games in Tokyo as they finally happened coincided with the 25th anniversary of the Summer Games in Atlanta!
I hope one day Atlanta will host the Olympics once more in the future
