I had a 940 b230fk (best redblock) and put the 18t and white injectors on it and set the pressure at 1.0bar and the stock ecu did realy good. I did a sprint against a Audi 4.2 Quattro and the guy almost cried :-) We crossed 220km/h in no time

you went into way more detail and work swappin turbos! I just slapped a ebay 57 trim turbo and used stock oil feed and return lines. hardest part was trimmin the manifold flange to fit the newer turbo. I should change fuel injectors but on 8 or 9 psi of boost stock turbo fuel injection is fine
Im assuming the turbo you removed was the older style garret so it probably had the same center section as that ebay turbo , that may or may not work depending on what turbo you have on the car and what turbo youre swapping to , figured id go over it incase someone needed to swap a braided line on theirs , i did ramble on a bit though sorry hahah
nah man you are good! the turbo I removed was a blown 13c. She runs fine I think but I am not too sure how its gonna be in the next drift event with the turbo being bigger and boost comin in later and being automatic...lol
@@ethixhiggins5059 yes. The transmission is actually still working today. I bent a connecting rod due to me putting a unregulated 500 shot of nitrous down the intake but if I didnt do that everything would still be running
I've done the 15g conversion on a 940 with the 13c mitsu, with all the work that goes into it it's not even worth it. We compared the two and they're identical in exducers and inducers. I'd go for something bigger, it's just not worth all the hassle.
To notice a difference with the 15g you gotta turn the boost up. My 15g on 12 psi is muuuch faster than my 13c was at 14 psi. Difference is all in the top end.

I have the stock td05 12b turbo @ 10psi in my 87 wagon ATM, but if I run it any higher (11 and up) I get full power cut out at WOT. I have heard info out there about a over boost switch... Any idea how to find and disable it?
I have leakage from the turbo oil return to the block, and have been thinking to fix it. Do you think its a bad rubber on the end ? No one has touched the line before. BTW! Good video as usual 👍

740, those years of 240s are wire harness nightmares, I own 2 in the 82-89 years, the harness on them deteriorated horribly and unless you really are passionate about it, it can be a tough job to undertake, otherwise amazing cars

dont forget to drill out the bolts that mount the turbo to manifold and if.you ate using a conical flange 15g/16T itll bolt to factory downpipe

so you can pull the white injectors from a s70 t5 and throw em on a redblock?
Depends on what redblock you have, the turbo bricks use low ohms injectors, and NA use high, the t5 will most likely have high
But you can disconnect the injector resistor on a turbo brick and use the t5
