    I've found some crest 3d white toothpaste, a toothbrush, and some distilled water works incredibly well. It took me 2 minutes to clean vs an hour of scrubbing with dish soap.

    This may sound absurd to you guys but I’ve found denture cleaning tablets can be used to clean and disinfect LOTS of things and it may work in this situation as well (I only wonder about the metal parts). I had to clean a water flossing machine and all of its parts and they came out shining like new after a few denture tablets and an overnight soak.

      For EK-Cryofuel Clear we recommend once every 12 months, solid coolants may require a change sooner

    maybe a dumb question. But changing loop fluid once a year. But then when should you clean the blocks? Same? Or once every 2 years?

    • @EKWBofficial
      @EKWBofficial  Год назад

      You should clean the blocks when something is blocking the fins, there's any growth in them, or you simply want to change the color of your coolant.

    Got 8 year old EK blocks for both my old 980Ti and 6700k. They almost look brand new. From one you got the quality of EK and from other a psychopath who cleans his blocks every year with replacing the coolant.

    This is why i submerge my blocks into a biocide, distilled water mix for 2 hours after every 4 months. Nothing grows on it, any form of rusting is immensely delayed and it extends the life of the block.

    I used to use my ex wife's toothbrush to clean my waterblocks, I regularly used vinegar in some cases lemon juice. It worked a treat however she always hated the taste afterwards when she was brushing her teeth.

    If you did proper loop prep and ran a good fluid, you shouldn’t ever need to clean a water block. The only time I have had to clean a block was due to my own mistakes while I was learning the hobby. I haven’t had to clean a block in 6 years.
