Growing up as a street skater in the late 90s/2000s, Bucky and Burnquist were 2 of my favorite skaters and biggest influences. I loved everything they did, and never skated vert. Lolol

Honestly, Bucky has to be one of the most amazing skaters I've ever watched. The bit where you guys say he's in a league of his own with his style and his tricks is so true. His video parts have to be some of the absolute best of all time.

Awesome interview! I had to honor of skating vert with Tony and Bucky in Denver at the Vans Skatepark (around 1999?). They are true legends... I was the clown. It was surreal and will never be forgotten. My next goal is to someday skate vert with Mr. Ellis!

Bucky skateboards like he races a car. Bucky can drive a car around any given track, no matter what the obstacles, and have it wired in 5 to 7 laps in pretty much well any car. LOL now that is a rockstar.

As a young buck I remember seeing a tour here in the UK at Leigh on Sea in Essex, I think it was Bucky, Chris Miller and Sheffey. I remember watching Buckey and Miller skate the vert and this was when he was learning impossible's on the vert. I was like WTF!!! Will never forget that day. One of my favourite vert skaters for style along with Buster Halterman.

bucky, danny and colin all made me wanna skate vert even tho i was a street gromm back in '89-'90. they reinvented vert and made it approachable!!
I'm 4 years younger than Bucky and if I tried to do an ollie I would fall and break my ass. It's crazy to see him still killing it and doing amazing things on a vert ramp. Bucky's ability to do flip tricks and twists at the same time is just flat out impressive.

Best way to start the week! Bucky is my all time favorite skater. No offense to the king of skate Tony Hawk. Since the Pro Skater games which was my intro to skateboarding Bucky Lasek has been my hero. Seeing him turn to a racer as well is even more insane. The fact that he's pushing 50 and STILL rips is a feat of the legendary status Bucky deserves to have. This has become one of my favorite podcasts as of late. Keep bringing the heat boys! 🔥

Sometime in the early 2000's my stepbrother who got me into skateboarding went on a trip with his mother to California and met Bucky at a YMCA skatepark, who was kind enough to get a photo with him and sign his board. I've always and forever will be jealous of him for that...
