Nice video and offers bro! Of course I have this wonderful plugin! I couldn't have shown its features better than you and it’s fabulous for guitar and vocals. I find it very effective when you work with synthesizer stuff too. I tried it on some of logic’s stock synthesizers and it bring life to the most boring sounds actually. My personal style and roots is Rock/pop/Soul/Blues. But I produce all genre.. and this plug-in love all music styles as much as I do! Love it!
This actually sounds pretty nice, it would be perfect if it could contain some low/high cut or autogain...but ..then it wouldnt be for free right? :) I wonder whats the attach/release time for this compression, is this reminding you of some analog gear emulation like Puig/Fairchild? Could it be used as a substitution ?
It's a very light compression, it's saturation that acts as compression because of the effect. So unless you crank the knob on high sensitivity, it's not going to compress that much
@@chaddonal4331 Parallel processing is always an option…but honestly i dont prefer it. When i write my music, it usually have over 40-50 tracks. Imagine having duplicate tracks for like half of them and splitting them in EQ…its such a primitive function low/high pass filter…they should put this into each single plugin :) There is also an option of putting the plugin on the fx bus, but thats no really the best idea since every instrument requires separate tweaking.
I’m liking this plugins. I find it is like adding salt to food. A little can go a long way. I have put it on a mix bus and found it to give the song more perceived depth. The caveat here is it does not work with every kind of music. A little can go a long way. I found it most useful on a small room jazz recording. 2 quick comments - 1) it still sounds awesome (in my opinion 😉) even if it aliases and 2) this isn't the best way to analyze for aliasing. While you might be able see some inharmonic content in there, there are better methods to know what portion is aliasing and what are harmonically derived partials or IMD. See my clipping video (ruclips.net/video/84Cpek7driI/видео.html).
Man, I REALLY want to like this plug in(new toy etc.) I tried on EVERYTHING, from bass to vocals to snare and I have to say the only ones I came out winning on were snare and vocals (like it’s kinda voiced for that range) A lot of the rest of the things I tried it on, it seemed to throw a blanket over the top of, destroyed all the clarity I had worked so hard for. Oh well, that’s just me! Lol. If it’s a good tool even just for snare and vocals, it’s worthy
Off topic: what an awesome track and a great mix!! (says this house/edm producer ;-)). Thanks for a clear vid. Not sure if the plug-in adds anything in comparison to the Saturns etc?
Thanks for the reminder. I just added this band's info to the description! Love this band - great people. I don't own Saturn 2, so I can't speak to it. I know people love that plugin. For me, this plug-in sounds amazing and I don't really feel a need to even explore using something like Saturn at the moment. Maybe that will change with time haha!
I've asked myself this question a lot. I think for saturation plugins it's a little bit trickier than something like a compressor. I'm not sure there's exactly an equation for changes to perceived loudness. But they should be able to get pretty close LOL!
The words to this songs are crazy. It sounds like he’s singing about hiding in a tree painted like a sniper waiting to kill someone. Lol. And none of the lyrics seem to rhyme which really exaggerates the awkwardness of the vocal rhythm. And I think it’s frickin’ AWESOME! Ha you thought I was bitchin’ about it but nope. This is my kinda jam! I gotta go give this band some love. Especially if the lead singer is he type of guy to sit up in a tree for days waiting to shoot you.. we don’t want that now!
my hype wasted is immeasurable tbh... probably the most disappointing black friday that I ever encountered, but still some are great free/paid deals but mostly is meh to worse.

Soundtoys “little radiator” is also free right now. Does pretty much the same thing but has a mix knob.
But it doesn't have an output knob, which is quite an issue in a non-compensated saturation plugin. The sound is better than this tho.
I tried it yesterdady. The native redlitght distortion from studio one sounds exactly the same. Try the New kush lg driver.
Good job...one question: how did you load the plugin in Plugindoctor? I only see Waveshell and not a single plugin...

Follow it with EQ/filter to saturate just the frequencies you want?

Is this a "Limited Time" free plugin?
Indeed! Grab it while you can!
@@RaytownProductions So, it's going to stop working at some point?
I have it installed already.
Appreciate the tips and expertise you share. You help us self trained guys a whole lot....at least myself I know for a fact.
It seems like some kind of gain compensation is going on for the normal and hi settings.....but not the soft.
downloaded it but can not find it in my fl studios..????
Theres a few very similar free plugins to this. Little radiator and free amp come to mind. Any reason to use this over those?
Different sounds. I like both little radiator and this one.
@@RaytownProductions cool i will check it out then! Thanks for the reply!
Have you tried Prebox from Analog Obsession?

Nice . The Big version will be out soon and will have the mixing knob and stuff
Yikes, it looks like a lot of aliasing when switching from soft to normal. May still sound good though depending on how the harmonics fold.
Don't say "yikes." This is why people can't stand you.

How hard is it to add auto-gain to a plugin in 2022?
Maybe in the Waves V15 you can upgrade your license for 100 dollars to get that feature... 🙄

Autogain doesnt never work properly tho but i get it
@@BFHPET Auto gain works perfectly in all DMG Audio plugins, Fabfilter and many, many other as well.
Nooo I was too late, thought it would be available in the black friday to cyber monday days, and not just for a day :(
