I particularly enjoy these embroidery-medic type of videos! I think one of the hardest things to learn is proper pathing. When you add hidden connections to prevent unnecessary jumps, I pay very close attention to where and how you hide them. Perhaps in a future video you can explain more fully about hiding runs under fills and how stitch angles play into these decisions. As always, your work is awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Yes it has and because I am not sure of what I am doing found it really disappointing. Looking at your video it started to make sense, not quite there yet, but I shall revisit this video whenever I get confused. Thank you for this tutorial.

Like anything else, learning to digitize takes time :) Glad this video could be of some help! Stick with it and the results will follow!

Late to the party, but as an ambitious (stubborn v would be more accurate haha), greenstick digitizer and embroider'er (is that an actual word? :P), I have indeed learned that the Beauty on Screen, can certainly be Nightmare on Stitch.
John, thank you for everything you have been doing to help people like me in this endeavor. Your thorough instruction and crystal clear delivery of content has me coming back on a daily basis to further feed my insatiable desire to continue learning more about the world of digitizing and machine embroidery.
    *tips hat to you *

I really like your videos, even I don’t like Hatch (2). The UI is way to user unfriendly for me. But your tips and tricks are very easily projected to other digitizing software. Thanks again for another great video.

I would I wish I wish I would have known about your videos before I purchased many designs that were recommended only to find out that they were terrible. Thanks for the help and I will be looking for more videos on how to correct purchased designs s those will also help me become a better digitizer.

Wow that was amazing fix. Well I have a problem. Maybe you can solve that. When I embroider the letters like M, N or H. They feel like pulled inwards or outwards from middle and top of the letters. Which looks like bendy columns. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Self-taught Husqvarna Viking digitizer am I.
Looking for object oriented lessons to teach my great nieces.
Where may I find Hatch lessons online to purchase?
Embroidery machines on site are HV Designer 1 and Topaz 30.
I totally understand your digitizing concepts, but my 6D software is not object oriented so how I make same edits is slightly different.
    Thanks.
