No starting funds, legendary combat & economic difficulty is insane on it's own.
However, playing an origin that has a small, weak & ill-equipped party, definitely makes for a rough start!

Might you consider using this type of editing and storytelling in other videos like challenges and normal runs? Cus if I'm being honest, it's really hard to watch one of your series since there is barely anything happening 70% of the time

Theuderic is a survivor for real. Bro just got hired in the other day, loses a finger, shrugs it off, faces the horrors of the undead, gets hit by attacks that would kill literally anyone else at his level, loses an eye, shrugs it off. Man is so loyal to the cause of the undead, he refuses to even die.
You don't find devout like this very often! Real ones be a treasure to keep (intact hopefully :P )

Another great 100 day video Snow! Hopefully you have as good luck during the streams as you had during the run, but i feel like you had a missed opportunity by not calling them the "Snow Inquisition". Hunting down outlaws and the undead, not because its moral and just, but because they're keeping all the good loot to themselves lol.
So I know this could be asked in the discord, but I figured I could still ask it here: Do you plan on naming any of the bros in future 100 day runs or regular series after us, or do you think it'd be better to just leave it as is?

I've considered naming, but would have to implement a system for it. (fairness, subs, etc stuff. I've seen others do it different ways, but haven't finalized on an idea yet)
Katarina being the GOAT of this party is hilarious because she’s literally just a nun. Like she ran up a hill and started swinging at like 4 living dead men and a nevromancer with an iron spear all by herself and crushed it 😂
Yup, the power of god compells her and dang he's doing a good job of compelling her.
I wouldn't want to get in her way in the slightest :P
I love it when the RUclipsrs know what they are doing. I don't have to feel stressed out when I'm trying to get off some stress.

I recently started run as holy inquisition and am just baffled, how stupidly strong prayers are on high resolve bros. Literally my favorite run on legends so far!
Ohh yes, the prayers are fun (defence is great) and if you work around the heal, you can keep a tank alive for ages and also have a lovely emergency save for every bro :)

I'm late but I've arrived. Another great 100days campaign man, it's hard not to watch it all in one sitting lol. I was anxious when you didn't find the better weapons and some folks started dying, what a relif to see that you've managed to beat it in the end! I can't wait for the next one! This series to me is like my father reading me a bedtime story when I was a kid lol.

The fast paced way you narrate the battles gives an insane adrenaline to it, something unseen in turn based gameplay, I'm subbing.

Dude, dogs are fantastic in Battle Brothers. I guarantee you're just using them wrong.
It's incredibly stupid to just unleash your dogs at the start of a fight. You don't have to do that. Dogs are unbelievably useful in rushing down ranged enemies. Surround their melee line and then have your flanking bros release their dogs to rush down rangers. Dogs are also fantastic against enemies with broken or waning morale. If an armoured enemy is almost broken you can just drop a dog next to them and watch their white flag go up. Dogs are also faster than men and can help you get extra gear and XP by running down and holding fleeing enemies.
Dogs rule!

I only play legendary/legendary with all scaling turned on, also playing ironman, and on this difficulty dogs are your bread and butter in early to midgame fights.
Haha, yeah dogs can be helpful early on to tip the scales. I usually find them to be too risky with my bad luck as they are expensive to replace. Glad to hear you're enjoying and learning lots from the vids :)
I need a tips and tricks video to getting rich. I just found a map in legends where there is one of those raids others factions with only two roads literally right next to each other that lead out of their territory for trade. Should I just camp that to get a ton of money, especially since two of their towns have salt and gem mines? Or play the game like normal
I'm gonna work on some guide videos soon but I'm not sure if one of them is going to be a trade guide vid. (but thanks for the suggestion and I may make that one in the future :) )
Depending on how you want to play the game, a full trading run that doesn't really focus on combat can be fun (like the last vid)
but if you're wanting to use trade to eventually do mid-late game combat, then you should focus on bros a bit too
Staying still and camping is ok if you train for xp (cause training can kind-of supplement your leveling needs) and using some of the trade profit to upgrade your bros is good too.
I'd say using down-time to camp, train and add some fights here and there, would be a healthy way to keep your team enjoying combat up to late game :) (and depending on the size of your trading towns, you can cherry pick quests that don't take you too far away too as quests are cruicial for game progression in legends imo)

I’ve just bought the game and am wondering- does the x4 and x8 speed come with one of the DLCs or is it modded?
The faster speed is from Legends mod and the Swifter mod.
99% of my vids are all modded with my modlists on my discord (links also are found there)
gotta be the only youtuber whose 1hr long videos feel short
So this might be like 6 months ago but the pious people flocked words you will mean that you get better help when people of holy stuff or whatever or just peasants or Caravans were more likely to have more guys and stronger equipment that's why later in the video some The Peasants had actual weapons someone natural weapons
You should do the Gladiators run next! Or the Nobles Origin
Definitely 2 fun origins with strong characters :)

This is really entertaining. Even for a layman like me who doesn't have a good grasp on the mechanics of battle brothers. Good job explaining things in a way that its entertaining for experienced players but also understandable for us newcomers. Love it!

OK thing though: I watch RUclips to chill before sleep. This is a little high energy. I personally would prefer some quiet gaps of gameplay. Literally a few seconds here and there. I don't mind talking fast, but your style combined with the speed is a little relentless. I get that this might be on purpose, but there is a large YT audience that just want to chill.

I recommend his other content? 100 days runs are a blitz of content and speed, by design. his other playthroughs are are a bit slower, and the Videos of his streams on his other channel are inherently much slower paced, in my opinion.

My playthroughs on this channel are rather chill in comparison and my second channel has countless hours of VODs from my live streams :)

Brain Damage is the Best! I have an disowned noble that is basically the Black Knight from Monty Phytons Holy Grail. Heavy Armor, 2 Handed Sword, Lone Wolf Perk.

I find it funny how the game simply uses normal German names, when it could just use the english word. For example Hexe simply means witch. Also the final e is always pronounced in German.
I think the german names (and other names & references) add a bit of flair and authenticity to the lore/folk-lore :)
(but also pain when I have to try and pronounce them... lol) Ty for the Hexe knowledge

Camping whilst caravaning is a cool feature that I initially thought was a bug, definitely makes caravans powerful and very much worth it :) Glad you enjoyed the vid and I hope your caravans will be more lucrative!
My head cannon is on day 100 they took the combined forces and died in a glorious "now or never" - though it was never explained exactly why these folks were so certain about the 100 days? Maybe some doomsday religion?

I really wish the switch version had mobs, or the legends mod would be put into the game as an option. I know it won't but it would be nice to get all the fancy bonuses that camping does in this mod. Oh well.
Yeah, sadly PC is the only way to play with mods :(
The base game has no mod support and the devs are working on a new different game so we have to rely on our lovely community modders :)

I usually recommend people start to play without mods so they don't get overwhelmed by the difficulty&complexity.
However, you can start with mods (need all dlc if playing legends).
I do have guide videos and playthroughs to learn from and we have a discord where I and the community are helpful too :)

Also why don’t you use flail in early games? For my experience they good to help against shield and for head hunting
Flails early game are unreliable.
I love flails, but believe they are more of a mid-late game weapon.
Their damage is very spread out and they have no bonuses to accuracy (other than ignoring shields which is great)
Spears and swords are my early game go-to :)
100 days as the necromancer origin? PauseChamp?

Challenge idea: How long does it take to kill all legendary beasts. Start with beast hunters and try to hunt down all legendary beasts as fast as possible.

When you want to find a leg. beast, you can't. When you don't want one, they chase you down and finish your run for you :P
Is this with the equal or specific gender setting? Equal changes this game from low to high fantasy.
The genders don't change very much in the game. It adds fun new equatable backgrounds (like milkman & milkmaid) where females usually have slightly higher stamina and lower hp, while the men have slightly higher hp and less stamina.
(equal-ish gender roles in a video game that has giant legless snakes is not really the best poke at 'too much fantasy' lol)
I like how honest you are about cheese and restarting to get skills you want. Most people just wouldn't mention it

I personally view dogs in this as the thing you throw at the enemy when they start fleeing, and nothing else. Too glass cannony to do anything else reliably. 27:30

There's not a lot out on Legends Mod specifically.
However, I do have a few guide videos and a "Beginner's Guide To Legends Mod" on the channel.
Will keep working on more guide videos though :)
An interesting dog build: dog handler with throwing weapons and rotation; throw until an enemy gets in melee range, then put a dog behind you and rotate with the dog, repeat
Yes, the use of dogs as an emergency rotate is a fun technique to use.
Have yet to find opportunities where that would help me consistently but a good strategy nonetheless :)

They really massacred the inquisition, didnt that start you out with a crusader at some point?
Yeah, our original playthrough with the inquisition had a crusader and it was quite the strong/well-rounded origin back then.
Now it's more of a 'challenge' origin haha! Free "MoB" with every character is very strong so maybe they felt the need to nerf the starting bros as a result? Regardless, we pushed through it all :)

Would be sweet if it was in vanilla (the only ones you get exp from in legends is the caravans and delivery contracts iirc)

I usually recommend people start with vanilla to get a feel for the game (it's pretty unforgiving, rough, steep learning curve, all that)
Mods add to the complexity and can be ovverwhelming if you start with them.
I have many community members that have just dived into mods and enjoyed it from the begining, so each to their own, but I just don't want people to drown in a sea of complexity and pain from the start haha
