I'm a big fan of his chain systems. I still think he could design a chain-driven rally raid buggy that could complete Dakar, or the Baja 1000. I have been a weekly watcher for many years now, and I have all the faith.

Hi Chriss I always put the brake fluid in the nipple end and pump it up. But if that can't be done, I get a jam jar, with some fluid in, then i grap a thin hose, attach the thin hose to the nipple then into the brake fluid and pump the air will bubble through the brake fluid and no air can come back in. Great video Chriss, that was an amazing amount of twist travel, great stuff. I cant wait for your next video. Have a great day. Maybe swap the 16t and 17t back around only then you could rev a bit in first still going slow for more tourque as the engine needs to be at least 2-3 grand revs to get the starting tourque.

Re brake bleeding... I found that taking the calipers off and holding it with the bleeder as the highest point and shaking then vigorously... Shake the piss out of them! Them pull the bleeder completely and look down the hole watching for the fluid to fill the void then just plug the bleeder back in and voila the plus one gravity bleed! Only required when using multi pot calipers with hiding places for the air bubbles.

Do you have residual valves in your brake system? If not, your caliper pistons may be retracting too far, causing excessive pistons travel before engaging the pads to the rotors.

just switching the 18 and 25 against each other would had almost the same gearratio than it has now.
at the beginning 0,72, now 1,325. A ratio 1 between engine and gearbox should be in between and just perfekt.
also you can get rid off the middle axle and drive two chains parallel to handle the torque.

You might weld a little half moon steel plate(or bolt on might be smarter) that wrap around the shocks right where the tires would rub at....max out and tire slides on the plate at all 4 corners. A 2 inch reese type hitch on the back would be useful for towing and/or hauling a little shelf around to carry things.

Builds a mini "rock crawler", never really rock crawls with it then complains about it being too slow with the gear reduction that would make it perfect for rock crawling then proves at the end of the video why he probably should've left it alone. You can't build a purpose built vehicle (by his own naming) and expect it to be good at everything. If he did any research on rock crawling, he might know that...
The only compromise would be looking for a gearbox that gives you the low gearing for rock crawling like the thing is built for with a high range that would let you go from obstacle to obstacle faster.
