I want the solid pin to prevent shear. Not sure I would trust that mechanism.

I would like to see the inner mechanism to know how it is working. I believe the metal is a solid piece and that is obviously what holds the hitch in.. so, yeah , it has to be trusted

Someone trying to reinvent the wheel here. Unnecessarily complicated and takes way too long to install and remove. Give me a normal hitch with a locking pin any day over this.

I like that it keeps the hitch from moving around inside the stem.. it doesn't really take too long to get it set up.. but I get what you are saying :)
