Your puppy is so adorable trying to get your attention.
Why do mommy talk to nobody and ignore MEE!
Congratulations on 200k subscribers.
Congratulations on your 200K subscribers ! . . .
Lumber to build will always be needed. Question cut lumber soaks water? Warps???
So cute dog😂 how can you ignore it, when it comes to play and leaving you something to throw 😂
I think it also.😂
"Look! The stick is right there! I dropped it right by your hand! Its right there for you to throw!"
I love you’re dog 🐕 he likes being the center of attention 😊
Great video and ad! Your does a get job of being a responsible logger. Hope to see the oak flooring taje off. Really enjoyed the live streams
I appreciate you and thank you for making content.
You all are the best and make every episode a learning experience
Thanks
I love rustic knotty red oak. I have built some stunning rustic red oak cabinets and trims and moldings.
I LIKED ❤
You Gals are amazing💖❕😀
No man will be as loyal at that dog. I can't help but respect this family. Mom and Dad have done an excellent job raising the family. God bless your incredible children and it's past my bedtime
..... goodnight and God bless!
Great video, and a super family I really liked your dad’s video on spirituality. It helped me a lot! Keep up the good work!
Salvaging those Trees is indeed Nobel .
I am so happy to see hoody weather ! 😊
If I was only closer. Planning to build MY little cabin half way up our mountain. MY ESCAPE. Just me, my two dumpster dogs, warm fire and coffee. Wife, kids, grand kinds can visit.
Keep up the great work. Your dad's message was great. We need to pray fervently. God Bless.
If you want to fully understand and make decisions on hardwood grade lumber, you and Jade should take some lumber grading courses. Understanding cuttings, knot and wane allowances and trimming will give you the ability to market accordingly. It would offer great knowledge for future growth in the sawmill industry.
Because, that’s what you do!!
We go 20 high on these piles and that makes a pile that’s 20 high. That got a good chuckle out of me. All joking aside, you guys are doing great work. I love seeing light shed on the lumber industry.
So great to see the standing dead Oak being utilized into a very long lasting product. I spent 30yrs manufacturing specialty wide plank flooring. The vast majority of this was "character" or "country" grade. Most our floors came from our local forests. I really enjoy watching what your family business is doing.
Lol stick went right in the puddle, good shot ! Dog was like WTF, couldn't have just disappeared ! I got a 2 yr old black n tan looks similar to yours. I like the voiceovers btw, should try to work them into your vids more often.
I would love to see a piece of flooring after your friend does some there thing to it. How wide will it be? How long are the lengths? Will it be T&G? And any more you can tell me about it??
Congrats on 200k subscribers! The red oak looks nice. Thanks for sharing. Much Blessings to you. 🙏 Lord-Jesus-Christ ✝c✝o✝m
Red oak does make great flooring but it doesn't have to be perfect. Stay dry ladies excellent job thank you for sharing.👍❤️❤️
Good question🎃.
Thumbnails ALWAYS HILARIOUS 😂❤❤
Do you grind up your bark for landscaping? Here in Oregon bark dust is heavily used as ground cover in flower beds etc.
The farmers and rural communities. The outdoor business!
I love red oak, just made some steps with 2” red oak. They look great!
... watch your liabilities LL flooring going bust for example ... pretty bad idea IMO ..?!!
Many of the Amish communities I go to have at least one shop where they make #2 red oak into flooring.
How long does it take to edge a pile
I heard like 10% of what you said, you have a beautiful pup i could stop watching her lol
You are fun to watch. Thank you for some great RUclips content.
Omg hi emerald hi my love
A great video. Thanks for explaining the cost between grades. You should put that German Shepherd to work. He looks like he's full of energy.
The dog is a “she” named Thallona.
@@ronsamborski6230 Very kind of you to share the information. Thanks!
do you ever do rift and quartered oak flooring?
She did a video on quarter sawing
200k! Nice! Congrats!
Idk when that happened...
Oddly enough, I've been looking for rough sawn hardwoods but all I'm finding are overly priced S4S lumber that I'd have to plane down and re-sand because it is warped, twisted, or bowed. I'm just too far away from Pennsylvania.
Good informative video. Got to love that pup that feels neglected. Like all things, the benefits of years of experience really count. Cheers from HB NZ
Hey Emerald, I always had to have fun about your dog in the background. He always wanted you to threw the little stick so he could get it. I had to laugh so much as he looked at you.😂😂🙈I like your dog so much.🥰🥰 You both of course too 🙌😜🤗
That is a nice carved eagle, girls. Could you tell us where you got it? Or, did you make it yourselves? And, congrats on 200K subs. Keep up the amazing content....
¡Qué interesante proceso de clasificación de la madera! No sabía lo complicado que es separar el roble rojo y blanco. Excelente contenido y explicación detallada
God bless you greatly.
You ladies are wonderful
White oak for barrel of sweet whisky… working hard girls 💪🏻
The way that dog looks at you shows how much he loves you.
Pennsylvania's hardwoods are top shelf.Your hair looks great Emerald.❤😂❤From logs to lumber!!
As to your white oak you may want to check into selling it or the logs to stave makers I believe there is one still in Ohio we just sold a Tri axel load for almost 12 K One load. Something to think about.
🇺🇸✊🏻
I just love the view behind you. And your not bad yourself. I live in an 100 + year old house, with white oak or maple floors in ever room, except the kitchen and 2 bathroom s and I like it. The maple has some Birdseye in it and when the sun hits it, it POPS.
You need a Contractors License, the biggest expense of building is material and you have plenty.....
Nice job girls..love you guys❤
lumberuh capital loguh yarduh. such an interesting way she speaks but i literally click just to hear that
Flower boxes from the Red Oak seconds? Say a 3-4 foot lengths and 18 - 24 inch depths. Height is relevant as to how one wants to design it. 18 inches off the ground supported by 3x3 posts and the depth of the box will be varied. Lots of choices. Since you do sell 'compost' and potting mixes, an added item.
Doggy Dog is very cool, laid back, playfully invasive, and expressive... sadly not mentioned in the credits as a costar
I focused on the dog, you have to learn throwing sticks more far away if I should listen to you, damn german shepherd, greets from germany.
It may be difficult to sell boards where there are many forests and sawmills, meaning competition is high. The boards are laid out well🙂. (Hi from Belarus. Harry Davidson).
"...Tell the difference withiut the bark." And looks at cute doggie lookinhg for attenrionn. Yes I guess you can tell without the bark. Just struck me as funny. The pup is absolutely adorable and really steals the show. Give that good girl a hug from me please.
You should invest some time into marketing different cuts - meaning quarter sawn, rift cut, etc. These can all be marketed to cabinet/casework companies. It also means differences in the way you are milling this lumber....and it also means it needs to be properly kiln dried. So there's that
Here's another profit potential: Look into selling and shipping ALL your hardwood products to fine woodworking and furniture builders. They'll take the knotty red oak as well as any seconds and build furniture! Sell it by the board foot like any other fine wood supplier and make good $$$!
I remember some PA folks talking about Wormy Chestnut.
Thanks for another awesome video well done love y’all ❤❤❤
You really should get a manual on the official grade system. If you can master that you might be able to sell large orders at wholesale. Being able to kiln dry your product will also increase what you can charge. I have a great design for a solar kiln, with solar panels driving 12volt fans direct; no batteries, no controller, the fans just come on whenever sun hits the panels. Air is circulated through a glazed wall setup called a 'trombe wall'; it's a box where the back wall is black, air enters at the bottom and rises across the black surface &gets heated. The fans are at the top and they blow the heated air into the chamber where the lumber is stickered & stacked. The rising air draws the cooling air down through the stacks, evaporating water out of the boards. You have vents that allow moist air to escape and dryer air from outside to replace it. This works because with the fans, there is a presser differential set up inside the chamber. Right after the fans the pressure is higher, so if you open up vents there, some air will be blown out. Down at the bottom of the chamber, just before the air is pulled up through the trombe, the pressure is lower, so if you open vents there, some air will be drawn in. Controll on the vents is manual or in y'all's case it would be womanual. Sombody open and closes the vents when they figure out a good schedule for it. If you just leave the vents on one setting all the time it would probably work. I'll send you the plans if you want. I really enjoy seeing you succeed, keep up the great work.
she is born to do this xD even hair color matches lumber
I really like that red hair color. or even darker red.(chestnut?)
HELLO LADIES CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 200,000 SUBSCRIBERS AND COURAGE TO YOUR VERY INTERESTING YOUNG DOG.
Here in the Missouri eastern Ozark hills, our good white oak logs are sold to the barrel manufacturers to make whiskey barrels.
Maybe you can find some wood floor guys or house flipper guys, after your own houses are done, and market to them. How about a guy that makes lobster traps or crab traps? Mike Morgan ( outdoors with the Morgans) has found a small batch kiln operation near him. You also might find cabinet makers or boat builders interested in specially cut sizes that are otherwise hard to find. Maybe there is a school near you that teaches wood crafts.
Small project boards
Congratulations on 200k❤
I knew you would do it!
Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing the next video.
I see you have a ring on your finger. Who's the luck guy ?? Congrats on the 200 K.
Your dog is like cut the chat and throw this stick for me NOW!🤣🤣
Emerald, will you continue to work at the mill,? I hopeso, if you dont I will still will still watch you should become a news anhcor, much love
Great video! Be careful of long hair around moving machinery!!
Congrats on 200K subs, greetings from Norway 🙂
👍👍🏼
Jade is a great worker 😊
As long as you cut you store it in the weather it warps and nobody wants it then . Cut to order only . Unless you build your site in your business with suffer the consequences.
Congratulations on 200k!!! Well.done.
if i was building a new house i would definetly use native lumber my dad was a builder i cant tell youo how much oak floorin g i ran it is slow but boy is itpretty
Love you girls for you creative minds to come up with a solution.
Good night and sleep without me tonight. OK!
working out gets me oaked, but why are my arms twigs? just joking Lol
I would definitely preselect for clear white oak at the mill if it has a higher margin than red oak.
Beauties, what a gym! You work so hard here in the air that you don't need any exercise.
Turn the lumber into sawdust and sell to the bakery for flour😊
I think you should tie your hair up more often. Such a pretty face.
The solution to not needing an eger is, makeing the board as its milled from the log.
Best example i can give is, wach some of my mill videos.
As a carpenter I say if you mill it we will come. 😜👍👌😎🍻🇨🇦
Love that German Shepherd. Good luck with sales. Good stuff.
So emerald and Jade are the same thing. We call it pounamu.
I get a kick from seeing Thellona running around the site. Lovely dog.
Emerald: Is that ring on your left hand what It looks like it is?
oak trailer decking you might be able to sell a lot of it. thanks yall are great.
Puppy wants to play! Show your Puppy some Love!
That's Pennsylvania twang...
Up state NY has even its own Twang
Congrats on 200k. See you all at the show next weekend 🤙
Havco Trailer Flooring in Vanore, Tennessee used to buy rough green Red and White Oak 4/ and 5/4 in the lesser grades. They are 670 miles from you, but you might have a trucking lane that might work or maybe there is a dry van flooring plant near you. The flooring plants also buy rough green White Oak and Red Oak and you could still sell your uppers to Binghamton. You probably already know all this, but I'll share it anyway. Good luck...
it is just the lesser grade Red Oak that they don't know what to do with because it is not selling right now.
I thought that you had feed in and feed out tables for your edger.
