And this is back when all of his playthroughs were is 10-15 minute chunks (Always milking everything for everything it's worth). And it's really hard to say how he felt, because he just wouldn't give a firm opinion. He talked about how the chat was conflicted and pointed out that it's likely to be a divisive game... But he wormed his way through it without ever really giving HIS definitive pig-pinion He spent WAY TOO LONG gushing over the visuals... He died way too much. He spent way too long on puzzles. He got frustrated with puzzles and combat on multiple occasions. And he spent WAY TOO LONG not being able to figure out what's going on literally, and figuratively in the game. But he left the experience seemingly on the side of enjoying it... Especially the visuals.
It's extremely funny he's comparing the first game to God of War even though the first game came out a full year before God of War (2018) and there's no way he's saying it plays similar to the older God of War entries because it had much different combat than both Hellblade and God of War 2018

For his Dragon's Dogma 2 question, I got the answer! I might after five hours see all the little fodder enemies but I'm not playing DD2 for the fodder enemies, I'm playing DD2 for the story, the gameplay mechanics and most importantly getting my fucking heart back from the goddamn dragon that stole it. That's why I'm playing beyond the five hours. The story, the combat is complimentary to the story.
Dark's comparison's are always so unhinged. I wouldn't expect loading up Dark Souls to find vehicles to drive but Hellblade 2 does feature combat as it's gameplay. People are more than valid to call out that the gameplay in the video game is lacking.

Well allow me to set the record straight on hellblade 1 cause i played through it again before the 2nd one came out .and he did not pay attention at all to anything the game is about going to hell and saving her lover an the vioces in her head are her own. She heard them after all the abuse she suffered from her father an the really evil one is what she calls a curse but her mother had it to an at the end you defet the goddesses of hell with a sword that you craft going back through old memories. She also defets her curse or so she thought and realizes she can't save her lover so she goes back to help her people.

I watched the slog of his TIHYDP of Border lands and took him god knows how long and it whas brutal adn he jsut did story not going for an endgame build and I can take a fresh save in any of the games adn do a min max build in maybe 26 ingame hours . But when I streamed those I could talk to people and play at the same time.

"Giant Scale Games"... Hellblade 2 is LITERALLY one of the smallest scoped games I've played THIS ENTIRE GENERATION, and I'm not being hyperbolic. This title is little more than "push up on the analog stick and take in the experience"... There's no depth. There's no significant player input, and it's so linear than 99% of playthroughs will be INDISTINGUISHABLE from one another. I have seen SINGLE DEV Unreal 5 "experiences" that look even better than this (though admittedly, the scope was even more limited), so I don't even know how much credit and weight I'm willing to give to the visuals. This is a "budget game" that was given the resources of a "big game"... But Hellblade 2 is in no way a AAA game, it's just too small and too restrictive in scope. But we know that ALL DSP cares about is something looking the part. So long as the "graphics" are good... It's a QUINTUPLE-A game for DSP. He also got really pissy at me (and blocked me on Twitter) for saying this game is so short it should just be a 1-off FULL playthrough, as it wasn't worth milking by splitting it into parts.

For his Dragon's Dogma 2 question, I got the answer! I might after five hours see all the little fodder enemies but I'm not playing DD2 for the fodder enemies, I'm playing DD2 for the story, the gameplay mechanics and most importantly getting my fucking heart back from the goddamn dragon that stole it. That's why I'm playing beyond the five hours. The story, the combat is complimentary to the story.

Dark's comparison's are always so unhinged. I wouldn't expect loading up Dark Souls to find vehicles to drive but Hellblade 2 does feature combat as it's gameplay. People are more than valid to call out that the gameplay in the video game is lacking.

Well allow me to set the record straight on hellblade 1 cause i played through it again before the 2nd one came out .and he did not pay attention at all to anything the game is about going to hell and saving her lover an the vioces in her head are her own. She heard them after all the abuse she suffered from her father an the really evil one is what she calls a curse but her mother had it to an at the end you defet the goddesses of hell with a sword that you craft going back through old memories. She also defets her curse or so she thought and realizes she can't save her lover so she goes back to help her people.

I watched the slog of his TIHYDP of Border lands and took him god knows how long and it whas brutal adn he jsut did story not going for an endgame build and I can take a fresh save in any of the games adn do a min max build in maybe 26 ingame hours . But when I streamed those I could talk to people and play at the same time.

He did all this pre defense of the game only to sing the hot new DSP single "Listen to your fart" and take every opportunity to ruin the story of this story based game. I realized Phil is so immature that he thinks being unambitious is an excuse for being bad or disappointing, that's why whenever someone calls his streams low-quality he gets mad and says he isn't trying trying do be professional. He doesn't have the natural human inclination to strive for better, he really cannot be called a real man.

He loves short games because he tends to get the most of his money within the first stream or two. So if he's able to get several first streams of two or three games, he thinks he's getting more money. That's all he cares about. He knows that after he's played a game for a while people lose interest so he wants as many short games to have as many first streams as possible and he has the attention span of a goldfish
"Giant Scale Games"... Hellblade 2 is LITERALLY one of the smallest scoped games I've played THIS ENTIRE GENERATION, and I'm not being hyperbolic.
This title is little more than "push up on the analog stick and take in the experience"... There's no depth. There's no significant player input, and it's so linear than 99% of playthroughs will be INDISTINGUISHABLE from one another.
I have seen SINGLE DEV Unreal 5 "experiences" that look even better than this (though admittedly, the scope was even more limited), so I don't even know how much credit and weight I'm willing to give to the visuals. This is a "budget game" that was given the resources of a "big game"... But Hellblade 2 is in no way a AAA game, it's just too small and too restrictive in scope.
But we know that ALL DSP cares about is something looking the part. So long as the "graphics" are good... It's a QUINTUPLE-A game for DSP.
He also got really pissy at me (and blocked me on Twitter) for saying this game is so short it should just be a 1-off FULL playthrough, as it wasn't worth milking by splitting it into parts.
When he's talking about Fortnite and streamers catering to kids. To this I say... hey at that point kids are gonna spend their money on dumb stuff as opposed to his 30-40 year Olds that only watch his content who are going to be more financially cautious.
