With only a week to go until the most anticipated event in show business (and no pressure, obviously), I took both sketches to Michael's studio and laid them out in front of him on the mixing console. He looked at them and asked: 'Bush, can I have both?' Gosh, we only have one week to sew not just one jacket, but two! - Of course, Michael. The night before the ceremony, I brought him both jackets and laid them on the bed. I came early to help him get dressed, as that was my responsibility too. Dennis did art, drawings and sewing and I was in charge of making the wardrobes and costumes for the tour, determining the appropriateness and functionality of his clothes. Michael pointed to a classic jacket: 'I'll be better in this one today.' Then he patted the military jacket: 'And in this, Bush, I'll go to the Grammys. Hide it.'"
I love them both but MJ and Madonna had pretty much nothing in common personality wise. Their friendship didn't last at all. They briefly tried to do a song together but it didn't worked. Madonna was sincerely in love with MJ and he gave it a shot and dated her for a short while but found they had nothing in common.. she was always in love with him, still is. They say her songs “take a bow” and “masterpiece” are about him. Some even say her song “Human nature” is referring to him too. He was old fashioned & found her coming on to him aggressive. They flirted on the phone, went out few times as a couple and made out once or twice. They planned to collaborate for “In the closet” but there was power struggle, Madonna was controlling, he didn’t like her suggestions & it ended there. MJ hated anyone trying to control him.

She was there that night to perform the song Sooner Or Later (I Always Get My Man) written by Broadway musicals and classic standards songwriter Stephen Sondheim which was in the movie Dick Tracy and which she played the character Breathless Mahoney who was a gangster's moll and a night club singer. The song won the Oscar for Best Song.
Towards the end of her performance of the song one of the earrings fell out of her ear and got caught in her hair and she took it and threw it into the audience where most likely someone from her entourage catched it.
I read that when MJ took Madonna home, all they did were her showing MJ her photo books for ideas for their collaboration for his music video for his song In The Closet which didn't work out for them because MJ wouldn't agree to her ideas and then she said to him forget it. And they watched old movies and held hands but nothing further than that.

She's done nothing but defend him before and after his death. The only "negative" thing she's ever said was that she wanted him to change up his style.

I doubt there was any wine or "kiss" at all. They just were not compatible she was too "vulgar" for him he didn't like that kind of women and I don't think he would just kiss someone he wasn't into or had nothing in common with. She even wanted him to go to strip clubs which obviously Michael didn't enjoy and he even said she was jealous. She could have very much just said that cause that's what they wanted to hear and would give her more publicity. She wouldn't want to say or give the impression she got rejected by Michael Jackson.

Dude was gay, nothing happened at all!! Both were masters dealing with publicity, so this was another well planned movement. Although, it was amazing seeing them together, they still ARE the royal couple in music business, The King & Queen of Pop, both terms were coined because of them.
