this was hilarious! Floating people, tiny staircases and all! Just 10 min and it still looks amazing! Just goes to show how much core principles matter when creating a scene Have you considered live streaming one of your daily renders? Would love to see 10 min vs 1 hour, 2 hours etc..
Hey Max, Your channel is a breath of fresh air for me. Really glad I have access to someone like you to inspire and educate me through my 3D journey. Cheers!
😄 The laugh at the end followed by "am I gonna post this?!" is great! Really enjoying your videos Max! I think you're having such a positive impact on the creative community and your content is always extremely valuable and packed with power moves! Even this one! 😂 Have a great day, stay prolific... 👊🏻
Impressive! Takes out all the artistic soul-searching and goes with the first instinct. The end result is great, but maybe less important than showing how quickly you can produce content with a well trained workflow.
The OMG at the end 😂, its awesome work Sensei with respect to the timing 💯💯. looking forward to your next video on tips/trick you use to have better designs/renders. The ones you've given are amazing 💯🧘🏽♂️
title suggestion: being constipated for 10 mins while making a 3d render.😂 this was hilarious btw. loved it. it's kinda screwed up that you just made that in 10 mins. it hurts to watch how good it looks.
Max, this is extremely entertaining and educational at the same time. Putting yourself in tight shoes and challenging your skills and imagination, is such a beautiful video! I really enjoyed it! I am happy I follow someone like you! Keep up with the fun spirits - it makes your content unique and outstanding!
Nice! To increase speed you can make shortcuts for your Windows folders by dragging the folder to the left hand-side panel eg. below This PC. Or you can add them to your taskbar/ pin them to Windows Apps sections (the window that pops up when you hit the Windows button)
This was great... I learnt 2 things in this... Correct Face Attributes to prevent image stretch.. never heard or seen this on a YT video before and I had this problem following your emission tutorial, so that's now solved... then Color Look Up... that looks really interesting... thnx :)
Hey Max, great video! Can I ask about the details of your asset library? Is there an add on where you can export textured objects to be dragged and dropped into any project or is it an in built feature? Thinking of how fast you can kit bash stuff really opens up possibilities in concept art and turning ideas into reality!
Fantastic video Max, thanks for creating it. Do. you think you could do a video on how you are using the blender asset manager, particularly with people and poses. Thanks again, and I look forward to your next video!
It was fun to watch. Can you share your ps brushes if you don't mind? I am a beginner at ps and not sure what brushes should i use for fixing my renders.
Would u like to make a video about correcting subscribers proyects? or something like that. i really like the idea of seeing the common mistakes we do on 3d.
Duuuuude i learned so much only from watching!!! For some reason the video was muted and I thought it has no sound (weird that you said the audio lagged xD) Damn, for real my renders will be so much better just because of you! Your channel willl grow really quick and you deserve it 110%!!
Hey man! I’ve been watching your tutorials on RUclips and I’ve been going crazy trying to figure this out. How do you create in a window in your workspace to display a camera view that is rendered? (It’s usually in the bottom right of your workspace) I’ve looked for tutorials that explain this but cannot find any. Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks!
1 way to do it After some fiddling: Step 1: Make a new Blender Viewport Area in the Workspace by dragging on the edge Step 2: Click on "View" and uncheck Toolbar and Tool Settings Step 3: Click on the toggle button for "Show Gizmo" and "Show Overlays" on the Header Bar (The 2 blue lit up button top right of the Area) Step 4: Change Viewport shading to Render Step 5: Switch to camera view by either pressing "Numpad 0" or the "~" key Step 6: right-click an empty place on the Header Bar and uncheck "Show Header" Optional: It seems like he has set the camera to be the the same ratio as the window so it fills the whole window. You can hit the "Home" key to make the camera fill the Area
Where do you get the assets you use from your library? I have a bunch of random ones, like Ian Hubert's for example, but are there any more good sources of assets?
I hope that blender compositor gets better, I mean when you try to composite 4K or 8K images it's going to take like 30 seconds to composite, that's why I don't why blender compositor and instead I use Photoshop but I hope that blender compositor gets fasters in the future updates.
How big is your hard drive and what kind of backup solution do you use? I wanted to buy some high quality tree assets but the zip download was bigger than the free space on any of the computers in my household.
Dude I got a question for OSM, whether I select any area from map, the function of import always be error, like if I choose a area from Seattle, but when I was try to import that to blender, they cant dose work.
@@CEO_FADeD It just seems strange to me that someone would come to a video like this without having a grasp of the absolute basics of 3d modelling. It's very clear in the video what he was doing with everything. Like, unless you have some very unorthodox method of learning a software this video should be either crystal clear to you or you should be like "what the hell is he doing with everything and why he ended up with the scene how it is". No offence.
@@SkinnyBlackout Yes.... You are master.... While you watch this same video. Right. It's a simple question is all. I paint, not 3D. Obviously you're not a true artist, genuinely wanting to help. Just blab. That's ok.
@@CEO_FADeD Dude, I've been doing 2d and 3d sculpting for so long it literally almost destroyed my wrist and I've been into 3d since I was like 14, which was like 14+ years ago. Not all artists or whatever will just answer your questions without asking some as well. If you're so touchy about simple stuff I can't even imagine how you'd react if someone was to criticise your art (spoiler alert: when you're an artist it happens every day).
Max: "I don't really like that"
Me: "That looks brilliant!"
Really shows the difference in the amount of experience between me and him.
This was hella fun 😂, Lets try a 1 hour RENDER CHALLENGE now, to see the difference in quality and the thought process 💯
yep 10 min is crazy... but 1h challenge would be cool :>
having this as a weekly series would be GREAT
Would be sick to have this as a weekly series! Super interesting seeing the creative workflow when so time limited
Agreeed
Agree!
Yes really puts emphasis on what is most important in every stage of the process. also a nice short inspiration round!

This seems like the perfect video for someone like me just starting out to study and (slowly!) Emulate, in addition to the donut tutorial
I'm with you on this... Lol
how is it going?
holy crap bruh insane, i would have never thought you did this in 10 mins
When you have assets ready and files organised... Its easy
This was hilarious but somehow eye-opening, well done mate!

This needs to be a series!
Great video idea, it's fascinating and teaches us the important things to know, even in a hurry.
this was entertaining to watch. still a really good image at the end, the floating people are my favorite
Even though you went so quick the entire video i still learned a few tricks! Great and fun video!

AMAZING
nice to see the usually calm Max be absolutely panicking in a render challenge
great one!
this was really awesome and fun to watch! Max you're so talented, i saw all of your other tutorials. You should make more! Liked and subscribed
Did you model all those people or i can find them somewhere?
The Blender process was OK to follow but I was totally lost when you switched to Photoshop 😆
Insane for 10 min wtf
Love this video. How did you make that plane border at 2:00?

Where do you get your crowd asset from?
Ahahaha Cool! 👍👍👍
🔥
Good final words. :D "If you have everything organzied..." Great work. Do you do something like this often?
where did you buy the crowd of people from?
How big is your hard drive and what kind of backup solution do you use?

From where to get the displacement maps you used at 1:14?

OMG 10 m!! this takes me 30! WOW🔥🔥
can you make a video on how you setup this layout
Hey Max, great videos so far, just curious, how do you create rain in your scene? Is it photoshop or do you simulate it?
Could you make a video on how to study 3D? it would be good to have a study chronology to be able to create incredible environments.
the end result looks great though. i would never guess how long it took to create this lol
Moral : make your own kitbash set in spare time
wanted to know what gpu you have???
you cand do the same in blender before the render, why u still using photoshop?
My friend i need the characters ❤️❤️
UV map video ?
2:50 don't have time to save. Imagine blender getting upset on that statement and deciding to crash itself 💀
My anxiety 😂
how doese he have glare in the viewport already? viewport compositor???
what's your pc specs?
lol is that viewport rendering in Evee or Cycles...
_if its Cycles boy i need some new hardware_
Obviously Cycles
It's cycles
How did you make the plane just an outline? That's the only thing I'm not understanding.
Really? He inset the plane and deleted the polygon, that's basic stuff
