I have 4th edition Ace Book. Do I need to buy 6th edition version?

I have the 5th edition and and I missed my recertification due to spinal surgery and recovery so could I study from the previous edition and only buy the exam voucher? Or would I need to buy the book?

hey there very helpful video !!. i have a question ,, I know selling diet plans is not with in your scope of practice (ace certification) But after you pass your exam certification is there any other Certificates from ACE that allows you to make and sell diet plans ? im asking because i think being able to make workout programs and diet plans at the same time for a client is really handy .
Jokerwwe, not only handy but essential. I believe ACE has another course for nutrition coaching. However, they simply do not want personal trainers to get into the nutrition part of health and wellness. As educational partners, the BDU course supplements their major deficiencies in nutrition and business...
I just realize what ACE and many other editions do is just switch the chapters around and call it a new edition. Maybe some very minor updates, not big enough to purchase new one.
Just depends on the info updated. Blood pressure guidelines and revamping of the IFT model were the only real major updates from 5th to 6th editions (other than new verbiage, here and there).

I have the Personal trainer Manual 5th edition with the study guide. Can i use that one to study for the Test or do I have to purchase the 6th Edition ?
Not necessarily a lot of the info is going to be very similar, however Blood Pressure Guidelines have been updated!

There are minor differences ACE made through out the book that vary!
What are the most important chapters?
ACE tends to be more even with the chapter priorities on their exam. For sure, ch. 8 is critical...
