Hey there! Probably about 99% of the newer homes built in the last 30 years or so that I've serviced here in the Carolinas use copper for gas. I always thought it was strange that the 2 PSI (newer) meters use copper but the quarter PSI meters use steel but that's the norm here. I imagine it would have to do with Copper's resistance to corrosion and malleability. Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching
