Just purchased a 2020 562XP. I’m running a full chisel chain, C85 and the saw is fast and light. I only have a few tanks through her but so far impressed. My annual load of 12-cords will be here this Wednesday, I’ll get her good and broke in. Saw is excellent on fuel also. Definitely recommend this saw for firewood and felling operations. I can also say she pulls a 24” bar with authority.
Sure glad to see you back was getting concerned about you hope everything is ok. Be safe out there love watching what you do cuz you do it old school just you and the saw.
Ya just been busy falling timber. I have a lot more content but it takes a day or two to get a vid up. My Ziply fiber internet is almost dial up slow. It sucks bad..
That 562 sounds like alittle bad ass...sounds awesome... great for cutting that second growth Incense Cedar and Doug Fir....you put a set of Stihl dogs on it....ie for a 044/046 size...Shoe in GP ps....nice strip up in that Umpqua Country?
I worked in the woods for 5 years. I'd rather die on a Monday than a Friday. I never took chances on a Friday because that's too close to the weekend, my days off. That's just me though.
The ones on the back help with the fines and keep the carb box cooler. I have zero hot start problems. Hopped up saws need all the extra air they can get.
Fucking spooky man. Great job. I'm going to send all of these idiots on you tube who don't know how to handle a saw safety to this video. Thanks again great job, cheers 🍻.
I do all my own port work. It has been fully woods ported, squish band cut, flange and base along with port timing adjustments. All the saws I build are put on a degree wheel and of course a lightened muffler.
@@fullskip8103 Yes what a great Saw! I have a 2021 model and what mods did you do on yours? I been ready d blogs from others and they stated that basics mufflers mod didn't change that much. I would really like to know. It sound madly Great!
A bump up in compression from 155 to 190 is what really turns 562s rabid. Squish band, flange and base all need to be cut on a lathe. A gutted muffler big exhaust port and raised transfers makes top power. Most important is a sharp well tuned chain. Set-up for the strip or block of trees your working in.

Thanks!
Damn what a sketchy situation
New sub, good vid
Thanks for the sub
Great video 👍 How do the cut outs on the top cover affect the air filtration? Any gains? Blessings

@@fullskip8103 Thanks, I will try to do the same with my ported 562 xpg. Blessings
By any chance are you running the 24'' inch bar on your Husqvarna 526 ?.
Ya I had a 24in. bar on it. Most of the time I run a 28 inch bar on 562s...
Why the short bar?
It was just a back bar pole patch until I got up on the ridge by the back line.

Who did the work on the saw?
It’s not stock I’m assuming .
I run a 562 xp and it doesn’t run those rpms stock

@@fullskip8103 Wow!
Hairy situation!
Any problems with husqarna 562 ?
Not after some mods... I have been cutting timber with them since they came out in 2011. They have helped me earn a living for many years..
@@fullskip8103 what's mods have you done to yours? And what size bars do you run on your saws?
