Hey I saw u cut the video at 14:20 and there was a hose u put it where the carburetor sits at was wondering where did u get the hose from I’m missing that piece
Hello again Herbie. I just recently saw a short from you talking about an oil leak coming from the shift changer linkage and coincidentally just recently i discovered my bike was low on oil after i heard and was making mild metal on metal sounds and checked. I did order the recommended seal on the link you posted. I'm not all to sure how it goes on ,hopefully it's an easy swap. Thank you for the heads up . I am hopeful that this low oil problem is fixed with this new helpful. information.
Hello Serafin, are you sure the seal is leaking? I wouldn’t change it if it wasn’t, unless you’ve pulled seals like this before, it can be difficult. I’m not sure if mine is leaking or not I’ll give it a little time. If it is leaking I will do a video on the seal replacement
@herbiesgarage681 thanks 4 replying. Also in ur comments you stated you went back to a 40 from a 35, did u move your needle position or did u keep it 1 below the middle?
@@turboecoinrings6839 I’m pretty sure that I left it in the one down from middle. I’m sorry, but I’ve done several carburetors since then. It sucks to get old 😏
I put a 26mm nibbi on a similar 150 and it seems to bog out very easy, still seems to bog with a 35 and 110, have you played around with jetting/needle position since getting it installed?
Hi Matt, I did change the pilot back to a 40 because I was having some cold start issues and the 40 pilot solved the problem. Everything else is still the same. Bike is running beautifully. I did update the video to include this information. Thank You very much for the comment as this may help others.
Hello, It's been a while since I've done this Nibbi install so I don't remember what size jets it comes with, but this is the kit that I bought just in case I needed something else. amzn.to/4aZq3PA
Since you bolted on that air filter would you still need the air box? If I did the same job would it be ok to get rid of the airbox to lose the dead weight?
I really don't need the airbox but I'm using it for the engine venting. If you delete the airbox you will also need to add a filter for the engine vent. It's no big deal, just preference on whether you keep the airbox or not.
My oil selled like gas an my bike won't start I seen lil gas comming out the exhaust pipe connecting to engine , did I ruin my bike Noone wants to work on it cause it's an off brand
Your bike is probably not ruined, there’s a possibility that if it ran with an excess of gas in the oil that you could gas wash your rings and it could smoke or lose compression. That’s worst case scenario though. You probably severely flooded it with gas trying to get it started or something. I would change the oil, replace the spark plug and try it. Do you have a stock carb and jetting or is it a Nibbi?
@@herbiesgarage681 okay awesome I was about to buy the same package you bought with the carburetor and air filter I got the soft double foam nibi I didn't know what size to get
Okay she just replied, I ordered the 49mm, I believe the 26mm Nibbi takes a 48mm but all you have to do is tighten the clamp a little extra with this filter
@Herbies Garage oh wow awesome thank you so much. I'm going to place my order now for the 49 nibi foam. Gonna use your other video for my sprocket swap! Love your videos very helpful.!
Hey Christopher, I’m not real familiar with the Mikuni clone but many people love them. The Nibbi is a spreadbore and allows a straight through design instead of a Venturi affect. Which is better? It really depends on what you are going to do with it, the Nibbi has great throttle response throughout the throttle range when you get it dialed in. If you just wanted the bike for putting around then the Mikuni will be good too
Thank you, good video I enjoy how clear the vocals are without anything in the background.
I’m just working my way through all your videos 😊
Your welcome, and Thank you! I’m glad the videos are useful, thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice
Thanks
Great job on the Carb swap video. 👍
Thanks Jerry!
Great vid, once again great job sir
Thank you very much, I appreciate that 👍🏻
"Cat Removed for Testing Purposes Only" lol I like that.
I thought you would 😂
The nibbi pe26fl fits this bike better. I removed the air intake tube from the airbox and the nibbi air filter fits under the side faring.
Hello Michael, yes the 26mm Nibbi is a good fit for this bike and makes it run so much better I think
Love the videos
Thank you Victor!

At 14:20 I put the plastic spring seat in before the spring. Is that what you are referring as the hose?

Mine dose the same idle low till it warms up
👍🏻
Did you have to port match?
No I didn’t, there isn’t really anything to open up, the fit is pretty good

Great viseo Herbie! Could you eventuslly do one on carborators? I get confused when it comes to rejetting them and how it affects the bike.
Hello Christopher, Thank you!! I will try and work one in on carburetor’s jetting and it’s affects. Thanks for commenting and watching

How much psi should be in the Kp mini tires?
The KP owners manual says 32.6 psi in both front and rear

What's stopping you from getting a pe26fl and just swapping the carb out. Do the mounts not match up?
It would probably work, I already had this carburetor
Whst size carburetor since this a 150cc did you switch it too.
Hello Kenny, it’s a 26mm carburetor
What size air filter did you put?? Idk if I'm supposed to use 45 mm 35 mm 49 mm lol. I have the same kp 150 you're working on...
