How about a review on the Nike Elite Tournament? I've been seeing it for $50. Looks to be very similar to the Championship but non-textured channels and doesn't have the non-slip ink. Edit: Just saw a previous comment where it was an indoor/outdoor ball. My bad!
@@Love2Hoop Yea Wilson is taking over as the prime manufacturer for competitive play now... I haven't played with a Baden since early AAU days but I never had a bad experience with them.
@@Love2Hoop Quick question? Which would go for between this and the Wilson EVO/Evolution - I feel like this one is the most economically convenient in terms of considering quality.
This might be time-consuming but please show footage of yourself performing moves, I am going through most of your content here and the footage of gameplay with said rock really draws in more viewers than a talking video other than that cant wait to see your newer content bro
It's definitely more time consuming, takes longer to produce, and ultimately it makes the video longer. I'm not saying I won't do it, because it does make for a better watching experience. But @clappy I be trying to keep my video times down, my subscribers kill me for the long videos 🤣😂😂
@@Love2Hoop I feel you bro. The NCAA chose the Nike Elite Championship ball for a reason. My personal issue with the evolution ball is that whenever you get moisture on it, that so called “grip” is gone.
Imma be honest with you.. IDK. And to be honest it's not that I DONT want to review the ball, it's just that right now our temperature high is 40 degrees with 70% chance of rain usually. I'm not going outside 🤣😂
This is a great question! If you play with a lot of people who use Wilson Evolution I would suggest getting this basketball. If you're around a lot of Spalding Legacy or TF basketballs, go with the EVO. The transition from one basketball to the one most commonly used in your area will be easier.
The TF 1000 is a really simple indoor basketball. Good composite cover, super lightweight, and spins on the glass real nice. I haven't tried the legacy yet which looks like a different material.
Yes and no. I think that it's going to play similar, but to me the Tournament is a good indoor/outdoor ball whereas the Championship is a real indoor only basketball. The decision is whether you're gonna play outside or indoors?
@@Love2Hoop thanks! This is actually really helpful because the real doubt I had was weather it would hold up outdoors because I primarily play outdoors and everywhere I look, the ball’s is shown to be indoor only
Maaan I been everywhere but in front of a camera. I was waiting on the NXT to come in the mail but after UPS lost it I ended up out of town for the next two weeks.
Crazy enough, I found it randomly at Big 5. It was the only one they had, and the only one they had left. Thought it was kinda odd, but too good to pass up because it was 15% off.
Love your vids bro! Have you tried the new Nike elite championship 8. I saw that it has the in laid grip channel just like the evo or the solution. I also don’t know which ball to get. The Nike ELite Championship 8p or the Wilson solution.
Oooow that's a tough choice! If you said Wilson Evolution I'd tell you Nike all day! But I LOVE my Solution and honestly I think either is a great choice. The Solution can hold up to some outdoor play IMO, unlike the Nike Elite if you plan to ever use it outside.
@@Love2Hoop really? Do you think the Wilson solution would last at least a year on outdoor courts?(playing everyday at summer, once per week at winter). I'm planing to use it outdoors since I don't have any indoor courts
Hmm great question. I would prefer it over the Evolution but idk about The Rock. I like the Nike more, but The Rock is probably a more consistent play.
hey bro what about the Nike elite competition I have a budget of £20 to £30 pounds and I need a good indoor/outdoor basketball what do you think would be good
Man the Nike Elite is a really nice basketball. Used it this weekend with a client and funny enough going from that one, to then shooting with an Evolution made the Evolution super easy to shoot. I couldn't miss, and I mean ALL NET type of makes.
Hi. Is this basketball good for outdoor use? I currently use an AND1 premium rubber basketball. I want to get an upgrade from rubber to composite leather. I did some re-search and this is a composite leather ball. I don't want to get a Wilson evolution because it is $70. Should I buy this?
Great question. First, I would NOT recommend using an indoor basketball outdoors. You're going to be wasting your money long-term because the ball isn't going to last long, especially this Nike Elite. There's an "All Court" version of this basketball that I would recommend over this one of you're playing outside. But if you're looking for composite leather you can use outside use the NCAA Replica by Wilson.
nah in my opinion the newer version is better the 8.0 Elite Championship cause i played with both of them and my preference is the 8.0 and plus the gold accent looks better than the silver one
i like this YT setup from you so far. very clear and good lighting.
Yeah I like it too, the hardest part is the location because it's offsite and the lights are TOO bright some times. Been working on this setup.
@@Love2Hoop yeah sometime used blanket to covered the windows.

Love this rock... very easy to grip and shoot. Most tourneys I hooped in HS/college used this rock.
MOst of the tournaments I was in used the Baden or Evolution, wish I would have had more time playing with this basketball coming up.

Bruuuuuuuuuh.....I love the Nike Elite 2.0. I have that one and the Baden Elite and it's almost dead heat.
That Baden Elite is real nice too. This Nike Elite is definitely growing on me.
Where the Elite Championship 2.0 review at?
On the way!!

@@Love2Hoop I understand. I just want to see action but run it however you see fit, will be checking out whatever you post, later.
This ball is 10x better than that Evolution ball
I'm starting to agree with you. I find myself using my NBA Wilson, the Nike Elite, or my Solution as my go-to basketballs.
@@Love2Hoop I feel you bro. The NCAA chose the Nike Elite Championship ball for a reason. My personal issue with the evolution ball is that whenever you get moisture on it, that so called “grip” is gone.
Especially considering the quality for the buck. Evolution overpriced imo compared to this edition of the Nike Elite rock
Would you recommend using this outdoors ?
Nope, I wouldn't. Not to say that it wouldn't do well outdoors (because I think it would), but the longevity of the ball is cut in half by doing that.
@@Love2Hoop yeah thought so… what is the best indoor/outdoor ball out their ?
Which one feels softer between this and the Wilson Evo Nxt and which one would you rather have?
The NXT feels softer for sure, but I like the weight of the Nike Elite more. The EVO felt a little TOO light if that makes sense.
Can u review the Nike versa tack pls??

I hate playing with a nike, I have better ball control with an evo, maybe it’s the feel of it
The feel of the evo is better than the Nike, but I feel like I have more control with the championship.
