Sometimes it can be useful to use the vehicle components to aid the extrication in certain areas, instead of using your equipment, especially if your inventory is limited. In this case we have used some door trim to cover the laminated edges of a windscreen after it has been cut out of a side resting vehicle. The alleviated the need to use lots of sheets and trying to get them to stay in place. Its just an option to try.
