@@troyqueen9503 That’s nice. How do they measure that, do you think? And what does the Atlantic Ocean have to do with the weather on the Pacific Ocean, even the generally sheltered areas shown in this video.
No Big deal ! Normal fall weather! We worry when the wind comes before the rain !!! Because then the trees are Dry ! Then the tree drop big 🍁🍂🌳 branches! Winter has arrived no need to fuss about rain 🍃 wind ! BC Hydro is on the JOB ! We are very Blessed to have a very good people to keep our hydro flowing !

10:30 PM, Monday night. BC Hydro: 93 outages in Victoria alone. Puget Sound Energy: just 121 outages from Blaine down to Tacoma.
Absolutely gorgeous, sunny, and delightfully calm autumn day here in Victoria after being hit by that fierce windstorm on Monday. Really wish people would stop using every weather event as an opportunity to argue for/against climate change (which is most definitely a real thing, but not necessarily connected to every storm or whatever).
Just impose a wind tax to go along with the carbon tax, everything will be fine. Paying more taxes to change the weather completely isn't a scam, so we'll just invoice the wind to pay for damages in the form a wind tax. Makes perfect sense.
The carbon tax doesn't tax the weather either, but it doesn't hurt the corporations that dump toxic waste into our land and water either. The carbon tax is a half measure to make libs feel better but it only hurts working people. At least bash it properly
Stay strong my homelanders. Love from Edmonton!! ❤
This is just known as Tuesday in Nova Scotia.
So you've never been to Vancouver Island, got it.
Add the water in the Atlantic is equal to the strength of the Pacific

So electrical heating is a no go.

So sensational. this happens every single year in the fall and winter. I lose power every year. That's just part of living here.
I didn’t lose power last year. There was flickering, a lot of flickering on occasion, but somehow it was lights on.....1st or 2nd time in 30 years.
Their all a tough breed of people!
its spelled “they’re” and no they’re not
My lights flickered. I am so tough.
Let's see how tough they r when Cascadia wakes up and gives 'em a mega quake and a tsunami special.
@@guitarplayer5932Go play your guitar and let the adults talk.
@ liberals are children, not overly smart but highly emotional
I always understood. Strong winds, not heavy winds. Thick fog not heavy fog. Heavy rain not thick rain. But thats just me.
That’s just the tree huggers turning the volume up even though everything is the same
Takec card everyone when I lived in Campbell River there was a maze of powers lines down. Had to figure out how to get home
Stay safe y'all
So u guys with wood heaters don't light them, the smoke will make all those that heat with other methods feel bad.
Good thing hydro doesn't bury its lines underground....
When you say what's sure to come, what are you sure of?
Hopefully it doesn't come here to Port Alice on North Vancouver Island for a while. We have had enough outages for now lol
Pretty good weather modification.
