I'm going today to get a big flight cage and organic pallets to assure them a new happy life. Thankyou so much for all your help luv you!!!! 💘😄🤗
Guys! Foraging is so easy to do! Here’s what I do: So you know those little plastic drawers that you can find a dollarama? They are usually used to store paper clips and desk supplies... Well, What I do is fill the drawers with seed, then add pieces of paper or parts of the bird’s toys into that drawer. Then place it at the bottom of the cage! Super easy! She learned to open all the drawers, throw the paper out or chew the paper to get her seed! edit: Elle pinned my comment!

this video makes me so happy because most of the cage submissions have nicely sized cages and a decent setup! honestly the cage standard for smaller birds is so sad. its considered "ok" to have a tiny cage that looks like it could be a travel cage, dowels and a few plastic toys.. I'm glad that people are educating themselves!!
I just wanted to say thank you for giving my gcc a better life! When we first got him we bought a tall, narrow cage that didn’t have much space for him to fly in, he was also on a diet made mainly of sunflower seeds and peanuts- we did some research and changed his diet to a different seed mix which didn’t have sunflower seeds, we also added some rainbow pellets from the pet store. Since watching your channel I have switched him to a diet of Harrison’s bird pellets and I have ordered a flight cage for him 💕

I'm so happy you're making this kind of video, it helps a lot of people find out what is good for their birds and what isn't. My ex-friend claims to be a fan of your channel, but her bird's cage only has two toys, a mirror, two dowels and a single bowl which has water. She only feeds her bird outside his cage, and she feeds him only seed mixes with the occasional piece of apple. I've shown her your channel but she keeps saying "Oh, but like- he doesn't- he doesn't need that, no hes fine, he'll be fine." She is talking about getting a cockatiel now too, and is gonna stuff it into the same cage as her budgie. The cage in question is only slightly bigger than the small tabletop cage that was about as wide as that cockatiel. She's "justifying" getting a cockatiel because "ohh but I got my budgie to train him! but he won't do anything like- I've tried to teach him step up but he only bites!" She's not getting another bird, shes replacing her poor budgie. She treats her birds like property. If she does get another bird, I might try to pay her money to save at least one of her birds.
your are so sweet and nice. I love all of your videos and my fav birdie of your is pearl whos so so so so so cute :)) Youre just the best! I just bought my 2 budgies a 30 inch wide cage, I am so excited. Their current cage is only 16 inches (but I've had them for 2 days) they love their new wooden perches and foraging toy

Omg that was just so helpful and so great to see all of different designs but those small cages were just discussing the poor birdies like why can't people do there research like I'm researching for a little rainbow lorikeet and can I just say that you are so smart and great with birds like I just love your videos and I will be getting a flight cage for my rainbow lorikeet and lots of natural wood perches and different toys that he can rip up and chew and find treats and I'll be sending his cage for the pt 4 cage reactions when there open 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💖💖💗💓💓💓
2:22 you see that play stand on the top of the cage? I’m getting that exact one for my new budgie, Schuy! I ordered Elle’s avian essentials, Harrison and roudybush pellets (cuz no pet stores near me sell pellets for some reason 😒), and that play stand! I already have the flight cage, and I’m using dowel perches (they are just temporary, I’m changing it out once Elle’s avian essentials arrives in 3 days), a natural block perch thing that looks pretty cool, and a sand perch. I also got a shredding toy, and a popsicle stick toy while I wait. Schuy is sleeping rn and he is SO CUTE and I love him SO MUCH and Elle, you have been really helpful in teaching me everything I need to know about owning a budgie!
I just want to say thank you. If it wasn't for your videos i dont think my budgie would have made it. I'll look around later for your ig to send more of how much you've helped me .
Hi live laugh birds ,I am so happy that my sweet mom bought me a budgie bird this little creatures are very playful thank u for giving us so much knowledge about birds I am so thankful for u, love you and ur birds
Heyy you have really educated me on the theme birds and i really would like a Video about hormonal birds i still don’t really get it but maybe that you could make video and explain? Thank you for reading this
Well I’ll explain all I know, so the bird thinks the bird in the mirror is his/her mate and so your bird would offer them food by puking eaten food to feed the reflection but since it’s a mirror it fails to eat the food, so your bird would eat the food and if that continues it could cause stomach problems for your bird.
@@joybirb919 I did, but 2 weeks after, we had bad wind and the bird was outside and the wind knocked over the birdcage and the bird flew away. I bailed my eyes.
Just FYI, I love your cage setup! :) I'm showing it to my mum as inspo for when I get my new birdie friend - am doing all the research now so I am ready to go once I move into my new apartment in 1-2 week's time and get settled. I'm independent but as my birthday coincides with me moving out of college and finally being allowed to have a companion, she's very kindly buying the bird and the set up for me as a present. Thank you for all of these reaction videos, they really help with not only getting some ideas, but also avoiding smaller issues that might only come with observation and experience (like placing perches up high and in areas that allow them to reach their toys easily or knowing to watch rope perches for fraying and loose threads). One question: Did you make your own playgym? If so, how did you do it and if not, where did you get it? I've been looking for a good playgym and can only find really dodgy small ones made of dowel and yours is just plain awesome.
Love these videos! :D My flight cage just got assembled today. While watching this I am putting all my budgies organic apple tree perches into this. Glad I prune my trees huge lol. I am also glad I ordered a lot of plastic C links to let toys dangle. They also love to climb around the C links too. I am hoping with this upgrade they will stop invading my cockatiels cage. The poor guy. He was annoyed with just my first 2, then I got 2 more. They don't fight or anything, he just looks so cranky when my 4 budgies want to sleep next to him in the sun on the top of his cage. My budgies old cage had a semi curved top, and I hate it so much. Waste of space. This new flat top flight cage is perfect for adding my parrot play gym to the top of it now along with my DIY foraging / shredding toys. PS - My female budgie Sky seems to really love which ever one of your budgies is chirping in the background near the end.
Only found your channel. Thank you for your videos you have given me lots of ideas to use in my budgies cage as I have only got him a few days and in the process of building a 2ft by 2ft by 2ft cage for him
My bird found out how to get out of his cage! I got two bobbi pins and twisted them around the feed door, I made it so it can click back and forth to open and close it. If anyone has a smart bird that knows how to get out I would recommend doing this but make sure your pins are cleaned and that they are not chipping paint, just a tip 😁
Hi! Thank you so much for making these videos. Could you give me a few options for perches that may trim my bird’s nails that you use? And a few natural perches as well? I have looked up different things and can’t find any💗💕
Would you consider doing a more in-depth care tutorial like first timers for each bird (i will be getting a conure soon and your tutorials are fun and simple!) so like a care video not just for birds in general but conure care cocktiel care more specific videos. Just a suggestion #featherfamforever
So i live in Milwaukee Wisconsin and we have really bad winters but im getting a sun conure i was wondering since i saw a video with u and Marlene Mc´cohen that u whent to pick up pablita/violet and u live on chicago 7 houres from milwaukee how does your birds especialy kermy survive in winter plzzzz answer if u can 😃💖🤞🐦pleaseeeee i need some advise
I have 4 budgies and I have a few cages I've had them in over time in all different sizes but I still felt like it was too small so we put them in our big canary walk in cage outside where they have lots of room to fly around and lots of toys while i'm away at school for the day! they love it so much.
I got that tall cage which is only 18 inches wide. I didn’t want to toss it so I just bought a second one and we removed the top half of the side door on both cages. We zip tied them together so now, the top half is actually 36 inches wide. My two budgies seem to just love it. We also pick a grape vine every few days and put it in the corner (leaves and all). They seem to love it.
This video has inspired me to make some homemade foraging and shredding toys for my bird since we can’t go to a store right now! I hope my bird is will use these for hours and hours without getting bored.
Got my budgie in a cage with finches, he is amazing. And happy. Found him in the street a few days ago. He bonded with my zebras and canaries, even courting my canary girl :))

However you should not over feed seed to your parrots so always ensure your parrot isn’t filling up on seeds.
Such a great idea!!!!
Great
Wow that Actually seems like a good Idea, I'll try it
@@estie_birbs281 I agree! I mostly put like a teaspoon of seed in the drawer daily and refresh anything paper that has been pooped on or put bigger pieces of paper to make it more challenging.

Omg that was just so helpful and so great to see all of different designs but those small cages were just discussing the poor birdies like why can't people do there research like I'm researching for a little rainbow lorikeet and can I just say that you are so smart and great with birds like I just love your videos and I will be getting a flight cage for my rainbow lorikeet and lots of natural wood perches and different toys that he can rip up and chew and find treats and I'll be sending his cage for the pt 4 cage reactions when there open 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💖💖💗💓💓💓

im early for the first time ever lol
Me to
Haha same
Congrats!!!
I'd love to see how you would make diy toys, especially ones for foraging!
Yes plz
I just want to say thank you. If it wasn't for your videos i dont think my budgie would have made it. I'll look around later for your ig to send more of how much you've helped me .

Hi live laugh birds ,I am so happy that my sweet mom bought me a budgie bird this little creatures are very playful thank u for giving us so much knowledge about birds I am so thankful for u, love you and ur birds
Heyy you have really educated me on the theme birds and i really would like a
Video about hormonal birds i still don’t really get it but maybe that you could make video and explain? Thank you for reading this
great suggestion!! I will do one in the future
I’m not 100% sure but that’s what I think
I love when the birds are always at the big cages🦜🦜🦜
0:07 ducky: lemme just YEET
i love your videos. i can't get a bird right now, but your videos are so helpful for when i get one in the future so tysm ❤
I'm getting a bird, I'm thinking about getting a budgie. So I'm like WRITE THIS DOWN, WRITE THIS DOWN
I was not expecting a heart
@@aestheticpastel5983 did you get it?
@@joybirb919 I did, but 2 weeks after, we had bad wind and the bird was outside and the wind knocked over the birdcage and the bird flew away. I bailed my eyes.
@@aestheticpastel5983 you should keep them inside whenever there’s a storm or strong winds
I've been looking for a good playgym and can only find really dodgy small ones made of dowel and yours is just plain awesome.
hi
Hii
Live Laugh Birds ayee lets go u noticed me 🥺
@@gachaelle5686 you guys have so many subscriber :( XD
Love these videos! :D
My flight cage just got assembled today.
U should do a video where u clean ur whole bird room on camera x
🦜
I have looked up different things and can’t find any💗💕
MY SENAGAL GOT IN! YAY!!

bro everytime u post i get so happy !!!!
Some of these cages are so depressing, feel so sad for some birdies
Especially the small cage for the cockatiel
I have 4 budgies and I have a few cages I've had them in over time in all different sizes but I still felt like it was too small so we put them in our big canary walk in cage outside where they have lots of room to fly around and lots of toys while i'm away at school for the day! they love it so much.
I am early!
For like the first time lol

I just wish we could meet one day! You and MARLENE MC'COHEN are my favorite you tubers!❤️
The one who disliked are maybe holding their phone upside down
I got that tall cage which is only 18 inches wide.
Has any one seen my comments to 1mil subs!!
