@Cornhole Collective I’m interested in a set of boards but I don’t have Instagram to contact you. If you can please let me know of another way to get in contact with you.
Thanks Michael!! We’re thankful to be able to feature it! He’s working on some more fun videos, so be sure to subscribe to his channel so you don’t miss them 🤙
Outstanding video. I’ve milling my own wood but had a stroke on May 3rd. I’ve decided to continue doing my wood working. Going to have a go at producing corn hole boards as my business. This video really helped me out with getting the legs perfect! Thanks
Wow Jim, all the best to you. I’m sure it’s been a tough go. I hope you regain all your faculties soon. I (Scott here) had a stroke as well, it’s been 14 years since then but happy to share my experience if you want. The only thing that brought me any comfort, besides my amazing wife, was learning all I could about how the brain works and heals over time. Something like building boards gives you a lot to focus our mind and energy on. Just be safe as your hand-eye coordination and depth perception might not be 100% if you’re like I was. Message me on Instagram anytime. @MossBoards be well!
It is a game changer to be able to batch your legs independently of your boards 👌 it’s a time consuming process that you almost immediately make up for with your first couple sets
Thanks Steve. I get a lot of compliments on those handles. It's a sold feel. BTW, Do you remember when you posted your video on how you cut out your tops? Well the very day I saw it I made the exact same jig, it works awesome. Such a time saver!! Maybe I'll make a short video describing the side rail jig I made to cut the handles and round over the bottom corners.
I’ll dm Skip and have him come mention the tool he used, but just a precision scoring tool that found the center of the leg. Then by cutting the leg blank flush with the frame it allowed him to reference off that edge with that same measurement with a perpendicular mark…. Since the leg and frame are same width it was a more easily transferable measurement
That tools is called an Wheel Marking Gauge. I set it to 1.25" since my rails and legs are 2.5" thick. Run it along both edge at the top of the leg to find center and drill it out. Here's an affiliate link to a similar one one Amazon. amzn.to/3i5M3zJ

I’ve got a video simplifying my leg jig in other group, and another giving a tour of my band saw round over… It’s a private group so I can’t link you, but if you join I can tag you…. I’m working on a leg brace video, to show the process… I just use clamps and a dado though, no jig on that one
Do you guys sell jigs for legs and frames? This would come in handy for my custom sets. I dont have drill press or anything, I make mine in the backyard on a picnic table lol

Great vid! Have you ever had any issues with those built in handles becoming a weak point? I’ve always done rope handles up to this point but have never been satisfied with them. But I’ve always been afraid the built in handle could break. Thanks!
@@taylordranow3299 Hi Taylor. There’s another video that shows my side rail jig. It’s all done with a router and a flush trim but. When i set the jigs up i used a corner radius jig on the router table I found on Amazon.
I did this yesterday thanks to you Skip! Now I have the perfect legs and side rails to make my jig around. Appreciate you man!
Congratulations!!! I know that’s a GREAT feeling!!
😃 so happy to have received such positive affirmations.

Great vid Skip! Thanks for sharing. I like the built-in handle! I think I'm going to try that on my next set of boards.

Love to see how you made the jig for your band saw to make the round over

great video! I'd like a little more explanation on how to find the center of the parallelogram for drilling the hole!

We aren’t currently selling jigs. Sorry. The material costs and shipping aren’t feasible right now.

The handles are a little over an inch tall and no I have not had an issue so far. After rounding all edges they are solid feeling.
Here is a quick link to the side rail jig video. I've got all the measurements for my rail in the video too. ruclips.net/video/P8P2QqsOSfk/видео.html

How do you get a nice round over consistently
Hi, router table is the best way. Handheld router can get a little wobbly.
Do you actually have a jig for the legs and where i need to drill the hole in my frame. I don’t want to screw it up anymore and I love your videos
Sorry, we don’t sell the leg jig anymore.
I think you mean 22-1/2 degrees, not 22-1/2 inches.
Thank you for the video.
Haha yes 22.5 degrees… however I do enjoy some long legs 😜
