    Charlie always seems to be the one who gets the joke last. And by last I mean two minutes later, and then proceeds to explain it to everyone else. In detail.

    In grove city, ohio in 2001 the karaoke lady at a local bar purchased the karaoke version of A man of constant sorrow. And she said i was the first one to ever sing that song karaoke.

    Joel Coen studied philosophy at Princeton with Walter Kaufmann, the country's top Nietzsche expert. I don't believe for a second that he never read The Odyssey, except maybe for a technicality like not reading it in the original Greek.

    if i was an actor and the Cohen brothers sent ME a script on a man flushing a toilet, I'd do it in a heartbeat. The Cohens are great writing and film making.

    They couldn’t have picked worse clips to showcase. They give you nothing in regards to how incredible this movie is. Also, the 🎵 🎵 was amazing! I loved this movie... also watched last night on my Plex, how the Hell did RUclips know that!?!? 🕵️‍♀️ 👀

    The Coen brothers influenced how I view the world. I read about a scene in a book or in a YT video and think so Coen and wish they still made films.

    I love this movie but others near me were offended. I do not see why. Was the historical depiction of blacks handled well or delicately enough? Does it make light of the subject? Is this an accurate/fair depiction of the south during this time period? was the use of the n-word necessary? Please, explain.

    The Coen Brothers are great, but i never could stand Charlie Rose and his obnoxious laugh.
    He never knew much about cinema or music but tried to pretend he did.

      random guy from the internet here. Agreed, I always wondered how both, Charlie Rose and Larry King were ever successful at what they did (with all do respect, but I think that they would both be inclined to agree). They were just perfect analogs for the masses to relate with, I guess.
