I have always used FL but now in the process of learning other DAWs including Pro Tools.
This video is very helpful. Thank you Sir

I have protools HD I believe the 12.5. For some reason I notice my audio recordings sound clearer than other Daws? I know they say all Daws are the same, and that it's just the plugins that you use. but something about the quality of Protools that sounds more clear

Lmao you’re just telling yourself that, nothing about pro tools is more clear itself, could be your settings in pro tools are different than other daws as far as sample rate and bit deprh

This track is really good! At first I didn't like the D-verb sound because I thought it sounded harsh but it fit so well in context.

Shoutout the artist SRE for that!
I know what you mean about the D-Verb. It can certainly have what I would call a “tinny” or metallic type of sound that sounds harsh at times but in some situations those frequencies can help it poke out more in context as you can tell 💪🏼

Nah premium sounds better for sure. But stock is not too shabby

I think premium plugins tend to be more efficient workflow wise and help you get to the result you want a bit quicker / easier whereas the stock stuff requires more finesse. Regardless, a good mixer can use either stock or premium (or both) to achieve a great sound and that’s the point 😉

to my ears, stock sound better

I will admit the stock chain is slightly louder so that is an important consideration - alongside the fact that I did this more recently than the OG mix with those premium plugins 👀 but everyone has their taste/preference at the end of the day!

3rd party plug ins sounds warmer and sounds analog, while stock plugins sounds good too but it sounds more digital. 3rd party or stock plugins can produce a great music.

Exactly the point my friend - it all boils down to the user being able to execute what they want. You got it 😉

@@discrettunes1045I appreciate you! Awesome to hear my videos have been helpful for you 🙏🏼 I definitely try to keep what I teach open enough so that anyone can apply it, regardless of DAW 💪🏼
