Love this ornament. My daughter wants to make one of these. May I ask what size hole punch you used? Our last hand-sewing project we did together showed just how badly I need to upgrade my cheap Tandy hole punch.

What are you rubbing into the flat surface at the end, to give it an aged look?

What thickness of thread do you use? 😊
I use 0.8mm or 1mm thick rope.
