Few details that you missed:- 1) You could have talked to all of the guys in the diner. One would not talk with you and just give you a death stare. Once you come out of the toilet you will see that he is gone. Remember in 8:27 you closed the door of the rv, but when you go in the rv in 14:20 its open. If you try to open the restroom gate in the rv, one comment will be given "The door was strangely jammed" indicating that he got in the rv and took a drive free of cost. 2) 19:22 that guy in the background is probably that guy from the diner. 3) 52:10 this is also the same guy, although this is not seen from the binoculars, but if you go off bounds you will actually recognize the guy from the diner. While peeing also you can see him (in the form of a shadow) standing down there. 4) If you go for one other option as an other choice while talking to the guy in the parking lot, he will actually tell you that the kids were droven off the road by whistles, which you could hear at 58:10. 5) 1:15:28 you were able to hear the whistles here also explaining that guy followed you from the forest to your watchtower. 6) 1:35:22 if I am not wrong you also should be able to hear whistles at this time. I may be wrong cuz I played this ep approx a year ago and my brain is old af. Maybe some glitch took over your game. 7) 1:35:40 Silas is the same dude who was eating in the diner and if you go to talk to him, he will just stare you down(in the diner) and who took a free ride from your rv. 8) 1:48:32 you can see a body on the right. This is actually the body of the hiker whom you guided. You guided him to the right route which was the wrong road. That's why he died and he's down there with the spooky people, but if you had guided him to the left route which is the correct one he would have had escaped and you would not have have seen his body at 1:48:32 . But love your playthrough so far. The next ep is so bad as compared to this, but still hope you play this😊😊

That and he is very insistent on have the new guy investigate specifically at times when the cult is active. He has binoculars too and a good line of sight. I think he just wants to be the sole watcher and probably gets paid more when he covers two spots

Would love love to see you play Chilla’s Art games they’re super popular horror games 1-2 hours in length each. Some of them are on based on real life situations like having a stalker and some are more supernatural. Closing Shift or Parasocial for example are two games that would be such good content
Fears to Fathom in a nutshell: Player: I better walk down this well lit street with plenty people. Game: “I enjoyed walking down dark alleys with strange noises at night”
It does make you think whether or not they were all a part of the “cult”. When we saw them at the pyre at the end, there were a bunch of them. Surely, they have to be locals. Also, why would they light the pyre out in the open by the stream when they could be seen anyway? I’m not sure about Connor being involved but I think Billy was in on it. He asked about “evidence” in case you did take the picture. And when one of them chased you before you got in the van, the door to Billy’s office was “locked” too. Also, the guy “Silas” was at the diner at the beginning. When he was done, he went out, went in your van and locked himself in your toilet. 😂 Hence, you saw someone walking in the woods through the window when you first met Billy.
1:00:34 that is not a radio but a spirit box which is used to talk with spirits. So probably the campers were ghost hunting or something like that and they heard something in the forest, went there to check and got taken away by the bad guys- explains the scream you heard.
1:03:26 Connor said something about 3 children vanishing and you can see in the sign at 57:15 3 human figures drawn hung up and next to them is a pentagram, which means the cultists sacrificed them

I mean it still can be but the probability is very very slim, but I like your take on Billy. But still I have to protest, Connor is the best in this episode, don't blame him. You said that maybe he was testing us - I don't think that's a good theory as he has done it multiple times and if it was just testing, he would have done it only once.
