excellent video Professor.. I have 2 Asteroid BD version 4, Accented Asteroid BD, Assist Percussion Utility, mini Shimmery..
this GSD sounds cool and I definitely want to get a BL HATS (I have tons of hi hats but mini shimmery sounds sick..)
if you ever get an opportunity to buy a RiDrum TK-01 ($200 or less in good shape) do it immediately you won't be disappointed.

Man, all these BL percussion modules sound fantastic, but are so limited in terms of CV control

Yeah I wish there was some more CV controls over certain things. I am always thinking how much greater these modules would be if there were CV controls for more atypical things other than just VCA's and Cutoff. And if the Hats had internal choking that would have been really cool.

@@RobotsAreRed still, nice that BL is making affordable modules that sound good.
Drums are tough, at least when I’m trying to stick to a budget. I mainly use Two of Cups and modulate the sample selection to get variation (or cover 3+ percussion instruments with 2 channels). I’d love to have a few dedicated drum modules, but the ones I’d be interested in will add up real quick.
