what can I do to protect the under part of my doors from my dogs, they pee on the bottom of my doors and they get ruin

Consider running the plexiglass all the way down to the bottom of the door. The pee will only hit the plexiglass which is easily rinsed off

I own lexan sheets. I don't want those scratched up either. They quickly look terrible. I want a method that stops or discourages jumping. Maybe a material that isn't pleasant to jump on.

Please let me know if you find something like this.

@bounder97 yes, I've seen things with flexible plastic spikes, they don't hurt a dog but are enough to keep them away from jumping at a door, but can be stepped over. I just need to research more places to compare them and the prices.

They also sell metal sheets for this.

Yup, that sure would stop the dog scratches. However, pretty sure hot glue might not be the best method to hold it up with.

Will the glue work on fiberglass door without hunting it? Also will hot glue hold up in below zero weather?

I do not know about the fiberglass door question. In really cold weather, the glue will eventually let loose. I would simply scrape off the old glue and reapply it. Thankfully Washington State usually only gets really cold for a few weeks a year.

I’m looking to protect my sliding glass door. Could I glue the plexiglass to the regular glass?

I wouldn't have a problem that. The hot glue can be scraped off glass as easily as vinyl. I just put it on the vinyl to keep that part from being scratched up like the glass would be.

Type and brand of hot glue please! Will any hot glue work - such as the hot glue and glue gun that my spouse uses for craft projects?

Hello, I use the glue gun brand Surebonder. I would imagine any glue gun like your wifes hobby gun would work as long as it was big enough. The glue sticks I use are 10 inches by .44 inch diameter. You want them to be big so you have time to apply a large amount of glue to all 4 corners of the Plexiglas before the first corner you glued cools down. Good Luck !!
