I don't care what anyone says, Mark Patton is the best scream queen of all time!
This movie is definitely underrated. The kills/effects are actually pretty decent and the acting is quite good for a slasher movie.

I've always liked this film because it was a slightly different take on the final girl or in this case, the "final boy." Also, the plot was executed differently. Whereas the first was Freddy being completely antagonistic towards Nancy and her friends, this one has Freddy recruiting Jesse to do his bidding to make it seem as though Jesse is doing the killing, which is clever on Freddy's part. He knows that nobody will ever believe Jesse because, from their point of view, Jesse is crazy.
I was staying at a hotel where they were having a horror convention. Guess who gets in our elevator. Robert England, I didn't recognize him at first, but my friend was dude it's Freddy. He was such a nice guy. He talked with us for awhile. Plus it was like
Lisa looks so much like young Meryl Streep.
Very underrated sequel, my favorite freddy Look and Performance of Robert englund.
"One Two, Freddy's F'ing with you!" First of all, best intro ever.
I absolutely love part 2. It gets a lot of hate but I've always found it to be great. Freddy is by far at his darkest and scariest here. I also think it's the best Freddy makeup of the entire franchise. They took the idea and tried something a little different. It's bold and I admire them for doing that. They didn't just try to redo the first one. Great reaction!
First 3 movies were good then he became comedic but still love them Robert England is a legend
Gotta love the “You’ve got the body, I’ve got the brain” scene. And I definitely do like Freddy’s Revenge more than the OG. However I will concede that the OG is better made.
"Does he only do things on Elm Street?"
An interesting connection to Heather Langenkamp who played Nancy in the First movie. She was in a TV series called Just The Ten of Us in the late 80's. In this movie at the beginning one of the 2 girls trapped on the bus with Jesse played one of Heather's sisters on that TV series.
I actually like this movie a lot because it literally feels like a fever dream and it makes me super uncomfortable, like I feel like this movie does a great job of being very uncomfortable lol 🤣

The dad in this movie is in a great zombie movie called Return of the Living Dead. Hope you two watch it eventually! I think it is a classic that is highly underrated. It was directed by the script write for Alien! Cheers!
