July 26 2023 - Hollyoaks - James and Ste

James finds Dee Valley Law vandalised and knows who's responsible. He goes to confront Goldie and Mercedes, who admit it was them, but when he threatens to go to the police Nana says the McQueens will give them an alibi. Back at the office James finds out that the memory stick with Juliet's message to him has been destroyed. Ste tries to comfort a distraught James but James tells him he's fine, already planning revenge. After a meeting with Rafe, James tells the McQueens that Dee Valley Law are now responsible for Rafe's property portfolio, and that means the house the McQueens are living in. He says he was looking for an outlet for his anger at Juliet's death, the McQueens are now it and he will see them out on the street where they belong...

I get that James is grieving, but this will not help him. Though I was waiting for something like this to happen, James doesn't handle grief well and it is a soap.

Im worried that what Goldie said about Ste realising James is bad and leaving him was foreshadowing. They've nonestop dropped hints that James is a villian since Grace left and I'm just not here for it! Why work so damn hard on a character and relationship to wreck it 😒

I know James doesnt handle grief well, but this is a bit much getting all revengefull like this, and it won't help him. I hope Ste can talk him out of it, and it doesnt damage their relationship.

The McQueens are psychos who think they can do whatever they want and face no consequence. James has every right to want revenge for vandalizing his office. Goldie is the only McQueen who has an actual right to be mad at James.
