Jannik is on another level right now. He's displaying that innate ability to raise his game in the clutch that all champions have. If he plays this way against Djokovic, he beats him and then Alcaraz for the Australian Open title. He wasn't fazed when he was down 5-1 in the tiebreak. That was Andrey's best chance in the match, and when he lost the tiebreak, you could see the air go out of him.

Sinner is a hitting machine, he will surpass djokovic in speed.
But the Djoker is a tactical monster.
We'll see what happens, my prediction is Sinner in 4 sets...

Rublev did so many unforced errors that cost him the first two sets. Rublev just wasn't himself or like when he faced De Minaur. Maybe the last two h2h against Sinner ate him up psychologically and just couldn't handle the pressure.

Good tennis by both! Thought it was interesting that Rublev didn't grunt as much as he usually does. I can't remember him being so quiet when striking the ball. I wonder if he was a little intimidated against Sinner. 🤫

Its seems the reason sinner won this match in straight sets is because rublev was exhausted and this is why it is so important to win your early rounds fast. Rublev played a 5 setter against a non seeded player in round 1 and sinner hasn't dropped a set. Rublev could've won this match because he's playing really well but sinner had so much more gas in the tank

Losing a 7-point tie-break after being up 5-1 is very uncharacteristic in the ATP. That's more WTAesque. This has nothing to do with being exhausted or not.

Sinner faced toughest challenge of the Tournament today
For Sinner in AO, this is the 1st time a set goes to a tie breaker
And don/t forget Sinner only able to break 2 service of Rublev. So I believe Rublev fought very well.
Lets see, who else in the Tournament can give better fight to Sinner

I don't see anyone more deserving of AO trophy 🏆 than sinner right now, but Novak G.O.A.T Djokovic and his monstrous mental fortitude is likely gonna be the immovable obstacle to Sinner's unstoppable rampage.
Andrey Rublev was impressive to watch.
