I took him from his mother at 8 weeks old and laid on the floor w/him and told him how much we loved him and what an amazing boy he was and he was always my “Handsome Fellow” I’m tearing up typing this to u now. I might get another dog one day, but the heartbreak is so terrible, I just don’t know. Getting a puppy is the closest thing to having a baby though. I hope when that time comes, u put your new fur baby all over your RUclips Channel. There’s no doubt in my mind that you’ll reach 100,000!

I can’t wait until the concealer comes to dept stores so I can swatch. Great comparison with the Viseart palette and Chanel quad. I like Viseart and you get more shadows in the palette. Love your thoughts on these products. I think the TF shade and illuminate looks better under foundation although you could get away with both using a light hand on your lovely pale skin. Which Sisley did you get? I really love the formulas they have but they run a bit dark for me. I'm hoping they add more shades. Keep in mind that the Sisley concealer is a favorite for many makeup artists, even those trying to budget their supplies because it is so good. I think you would be happy with both formulas as long as you have a good shade match.
@@LexiJong phyto cernes eclat in 1.5.. hopefully it's light enough. My undereyes aren't dark or puffy but the tear ducts are hallowing out a little and pale blue.
I picked up the concealer from Selfridges, went with your shade. I think what I will do with it is decant some into a small sample container rather than opening the jar every time. I love Victoria Beckham liners, but passing on the glitter ones.

I don't have the foundation either because they don't have my preferred shade of BD01 in the US but this concealer is incredible so now I really want to try the foundaiton! The water fresh teint is a great product!

Unfortunately, I’ve become allergic to almost every eyeliner I’ve tried. ALL of the VBB eyeliners r Dermatologist tested, Opthalmologist tested, safe to use on the waterline and safe for contact lens wearers. I double checked it on her website, bc I was concerned about the glitter in the eyeliner as well. I get soooo excited when VBB comes out w/new eyeliners bc I’ve gotten to the point that it’s pretty much all I wear. Your goldfish brush is absolutely gorgeous! I was looking on the Fude website and either the really pretty hand painted brushes were sold out or totally out of my price range. Since u like the Chantecaille gold finishing powder & I know u like the Guerlain Meteorites, I purchased the holiday Guerlain Meteorite in the gold and I absolutely love them!! I literally use them everyday. I would prefer to purchase straight from the Guerlain website, rather than EBay, but sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do and they r beautiful!

This was great! I'm currently sorting through my products deciding what stays, goes, and needs more love. I'm pretty interested in the new Sublimage eye, but it's not urgent. I have the old TF shade and illuminate and I think I used it literally once-I think it was too warm and looked like I smeared clay on my face. I really don't contour or use much bronzer, so I really need to stop thinking I will. I do still like the CT original Filmstar Bronze & Glow, so maybe I just like a powder better. I'm glad you mentioned the glitter in the VBB, because I definitely planned to use them in my waterline and tragedy would have ensued!!!! That brush is gorgeous btw, thank you for sharing it, and another nice chill review of different releases!
I have to say I absolutely love the new Tom Ford highlighter duo in peachlight. That might be something to consider (or another shade). I will try to get that video up this weekend. I just feel like these releases are never-ending! I'm so glad you enjoyed this!

Hi Lexi that Chanel concealer looks amazing🙌 i never got that foundation, just because i heard its quite more coverage, but i would get it, if i dont have Valmont serum foundation, which can be sheer out and lately i mix with Chanel highlighting fluid. And its even better. And all those skincare amazing ingredients, are in there. But at some point i want to try Sublimage foundation. I do loved that skincare line as well. But this concealer looks amazing. As soon as it comes to Nordstrom, i am getting it. VB eyeliners, for me are too messy. I do like sometimes, and that blue with black is intriguing, i might get it. That brush looks amazing. I do need powder brush😳🤪😜😂 Haveva blessed day🙏🧡
I really want to try the Sublimage foundation too and I got a sample but they just don't make my shade in the line in the US. I hope they expand here! The brush is so nice and the handle just makes it special imo!
Hey, congratulations on 8k! 🎉🎉🎉 I noticed you were using the Lotus base brush earlier in the video. Do you like it? Do you use it mostly for contour - which you do not really do often lol? I was tempted to get the Lotus set, mostly because of the eye brushes.
I love the lotus set but I don't use the base brush that often. You nailed it - I use it mostly for contour or sometimes foundation but I use the other brushes in the set all the time. Especially the eye brushes!
I also wish the concealer was hosted differently. I realized with time I’m too lazy to deal with jars even with eye creams….then I end up not using them .
I am determined to use this one up! I know exactly what you mean though and i hate using a separate spatula so I usually use my finger but then feel like it gets gross and don't want to finish it. Lol.

I just did a quick search on Sephora to see if that eyeshadow palette was being carried by them and it looks like they’re not carrying much Viseart anymore I wonder if they’re going to stop carrying them all together. Anyway I love those pumkiny/yellows oranges so I will have to pick it up at some point!
I have noticed that too about Sephora. I think they probably are not continuing with them but you may want to wait until the big Viseart sale that usually comes in the Fall when things are around half off (maybe 40%?). It's definitely the best time to buy them.

The cle de peau offers a bit more color correction and is more putty-like. I think this one has a little less coverage than the cle de peau but sinks into your skin more naturally than the cdp. Both are awesome but different.
Lexi. Make me feel better. I purchased two sets of Sonia Gs fusion eye sets upon launch. I was very sick that week but I did that! 😆. But if I only knew to wait for the Beautylish gift card event, I would have gained $40 to use later. You know when you purchase full price instead of sale price? I feel like that. Hi, I know it’s an older video and I’m late to the game, but is the 02 in the Chanel concealer suitable for you as a foundation? I’m a similar colour to you and I’m debating between 02 and 10. I don’t like too brightening concealers. The Chanel is so expensive so if it doesn’t work out as a concealer for me I could use it as a foundation, but it can’t be too light for that.
I hate the scent of the TF concealer. Does the Chanel have a scent? I’m ok with mild scents that go away after application but the TF has too strong a smell of straight alcohol. It’s vile (to my nose). I also ordered the Viseart palette and I had ordered the Half Magic singles collection which arrived the same day. Well the shadows are the same size so I customized my Viseart palette by subbing 3 of the shimmers from Half Magic to add a little more purple. I took out a gold and orange satin and one of the darker mattes. I love that you can customize Viseart shadows and love their mattes. I’ve only tried the 3 of the Half Magic shades that I put in this palette so can’t comment on their mattes yet. I’ll say they swatch poorly but so do Viseart mattes. The Half Magic shimmers also swatch very poorly but look amazing on. I was shocked, tbh. I was expecting to be mad at wasting my money after swatching but they are quite impactful on.
The Chanel has a scent but it is more of soft natural vanilla because of the vanilla planifolia. I like the scent on this actually because it smells soft, luxe, and for me, not overly saccharine. It is not the vanilla you get in a lipgloss. I haven't heard of Half Magic but now I want to check them out. I'm glad they have the same sizes! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Lexi, I picked up the Tom Ford contour on the Sephora sale this week. I used the Patrick Ta brush as per your other video. I found the colour too dark and you are right, ut settled down so fast, it looks like bruised under my cheekbones. Do you have tricks to make it work? Thanks
the original 0.5 Shade & Illum. by TF was waaaaay cooler and I loved it. I will not be repurchasing this one :( this one is a bronzer not a contour like the old one :)
and just for the record, I am one of those who loved the illuminate balm ;) many don't but I dew. I've had mine for a couple years now and sadly it smells bad so I think it's time to part with it :( booooo I cannot get the same one... on to another product.
That's unfortunate! I wish I had tried the original but it isn't the type of product I use often. I hope you can find a good alternative. Have you looked at the Rituel de Fille luminizers? I don't know if they have a similar shade or not but the formula is really nice and I think it would be more similar to the original TF.
Yes it does but not too strongly imo. It has a bit of a natural vanilla scent due to the ingredients but the vanilla smells more pure than for example the vanilla in a lipgloss.

I have to say I absolutely love the new Tom Ford highlighter duo in peachlight. That might be something to consider (or another shade). I will try to get that video up this weekend. I just feel like these releases are never-ending! I'm so glad you enjoyed this!

Lexi: How do you feel about the Chanel concealer you've chosen? We use the same color shade in foundations, and I was also thinking I'd also get the Chanel 02 to be a bit lighter (brightening) for under eyes. How is that color working out for you?

Hi Lexi that Chanel concealer looks amazing🙌 i never got that foundation, just because i heard its quite more coverage, but i would get it, if i dont have Valmont serum foundation, which can be sheer out and lately i mix with Chanel highlighting fluid. And its even better. And all those skincare amazing ingredients, are in there. But at some point i want to try Sublimage foundation. I do loved that skincare line as well. But this concealer looks amazing. As soon as it comes to Nordstrom, i am getting it. VB eyeliners, for me are too messy. I do like sometimes, and that blue with black is intriguing, i might get it. That brush looks amazing. I do need powder brush😳🤪😜😂 Haveva blessed day🙏🧡
I really want to try the Sublimage foundation too and I got a sample but they just don't make my shade in the line in the US. I hope they expand here! The brush is so nice and the handle just makes it special imo!
Hey, congratulations on 8k! 🎉🎉🎉 I noticed you were using the Lotus base brush earlier in the video. Do you like it? Do you use it mostly for contour - which you do not really do often lol? I was tempted to get the Lotus set, mostly because of the eye brushes.
I love the lotus set but I don't use the base brush that often. You nailed it - I use it mostly for contour or sometimes foundation but I use the other brushes in the set all the time. Especially the eye brushes!

Anyway I love those pumkiny/yellows oranges so I will have to pick it up at some point!
I have noticed that too about Sephora. I think they probably are not continuing with them but you may want to wait until the big Viseart sale that usually comes in the Fall when things are around half off (maybe 40%?). It's definitely the best time to buy them.

I’m always thankful for your detailed explanations. How do you compare this Chanel concealer to cle de peau concealers? I have dark circles and wrinkles under my eyes.
The cle de peau offers a bit more color correction and is more putty-like. I think this one has a little less coverage than the cle de peau but sinks into your skin more naturally than the cdp. Both are awesome but different.

Hi, I know it’s an older video and I’m late to the game, but is the 02 in the Chanel concealer suitable for you as a foundation? I’m a similar colour to you and I’m debating between 02 and 10. I don’t like too brightening concealers. The Chanel is so expensive so if it doesn’t work out as a concealer for me I could use it as a foundation, but it can’t be too light for that.
Yes the shade works for me all over.
I hate the scent of the TF concealer. Does the Chanel have a scent? I’m ok with mild scents that go away after application but the TF has too strong a smell of straight alcohol. It’s vile (to my nose). I also ordered the Viseart palette and I had ordered the Half Magic singles collection which arrived the same day. Well the shadows are the same size so I customized my Viseart palette by subbing 3 of the shimmers from Half Magic to add a little more purple. I took out a gold and orange satin and one of the darker mattes. I love that you can customize Viseart shadows and love their mattes. I’ve only tried the 3 of the Half Magic shades that I put in this palette so can’t comment on their mattes yet. I’ll say they swatch poorly but so do Viseart mattes. The Half Magic shimmers also swatch very poorly but look amazing on. I was shocked, tbh. I was expecting to be mad at wasting my money after swatching but they are quite impactful on.
The Chanel has a scent but it is more of soft natural vanilla because of the vanilla planifolia. I like the scent on this actually because it smells soft, luxe, and for me, not overly saccharine. It is not the vanilla you get in a lipgloss. I haven't heard of Half Magic but now I want to check them out. I'm glad they have the same sizes! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Lexi, I picked up the Tom Ford contour on the Sephora sale this week. I used the Patrick Ta brush as per your other video. I found the colour too dark and you are right, ut settled down so fast, it looks like bruised under my cheekbones. Do you have tricks to make it work? Thanks

the original 0.5 Shade & Illum. by TF was waaaaay cooler and I loved it. I will not be repurchasing this one :( this one is a bronzer not a contour like the old one :)
and just for the record, I am one of those who loved the illuminate balm ;) many don't but I dew. I've had mine for a couple years now and sadly it smells bad so I think it's time to part with it :( booooo I cannot get the same one... on to another product.
That's unfortunate! I wish I had tried the original but it isn't the type of product I use often. I hope you can find a good alternative. Have you looked at the Rituel de Fille luminizers? I don't know if they have a similar shade or not but the formula is really nice and I think it would be more similar to the original TF.
Does the channel consealer have that “luxury” smell?
Yes it does but not too strongly imo. It has a bit of a natural vanilla scent due to the ingredients but the vanilla smells more pure than for example the vanilla in a lipgloss.
