I will NEVER purchase another Guerlain lipstick or case ever again. I’m so upset. I would love to purchase the TF blush, but for that price point & it being a cream blush that I know will expire sooner than a powder, I can’t bring myself to pull the trigger. This was a great review. Thank you Lexi.

Cash grab- 100%. I bought up the few remaining cases that I really loved. I wouldn’t say no to a lovely holiday case/colour but these lipsticks are no longer my ride or die.
What kills me about this review is how two brands, known for exquisite packaging have become a major disappointment. First Guerlain. I can't get over how they screwed us over with those lipsticks. I have over 20 of the original cases and am in love with some, like the denim and crystal ones. It is killing me that they're heading toward useless. I'm over the fancy case as a separate purchase for All lipsticks. It started as a cash grab anyway, but Guerlain made cases too beautiful to resist. The new ones are pretty, but I plan to buy zero of them. I can resist Everything from Guerlain now. And Chantecaille was renowned for beautiful packaging, but now? Not at all. Beiersdorf started cheaping out with photoart. Now they aren't even bothering with that. I have their foundations and skin tints and would repurchase them if they don't ruin the formula. But their seasonal launches aren't worth the money any more. I love that Suqqu color and would have purchased that berry, but I get potted lips products all over myself. Their moisture glaze lipstick in that color would have been a winner. In fact, Suqqu may call them a lipstick, but they are so good for my lips, they are my favorite balm. I do have the new Metropolitan balm from Lisa Eldridge in my mailbox. I'll be curious to see how it performs. And I really appreciate you recommending that Viseart palette. I'm going to get that one. I love Viseart quality, and that palette allows several beautiful, and distinct looks. Sorry for the long comment. You covered a lot of ground in this. And the satin, I liked better too - And the lighter fragrance - I kind of like fragrance in makeup (I know it’s not good, but it makes me feel special, lol). But the guerlain lip scent is too much in my mouth and it stays strong, to me - so I kind of was getting done with them anyway - the new scent is better, but still… it gets to me - I’ll never buy a super expensive one though for sure - and I won’t be as excited for any cases like I was before - the *glamour* is gone in my eyes And chanticaille -- well, just disappointing for a while with packaging … who is paying that money and does not care about package in too? My gold holiday pack being is pitting now! What? And I baby it - The product may be really nice, but there is sooooooo much good makeup now at all price ranges - packaging is what sets things apart these days even more - imo

Your SKIN! It’s naturally beautiful, but WOW I assume it’s the rose primer from Chantecaille and the Lisa Eldridge skin tint that is accentuating your skin so well! That was the first thing I noticed- that I don’t know how your skin could look any better.
I don’t see the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sunkissed Powders included in your April Repurchase Review or May Repurchase Review. What is your updated opinion on the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sunkissed Powders? Would you repurchase them?
I’ve watched so many reviews on the powders. I haven’t heard anyone say anything bad about them or remotely negative. I purchased one and didn’t really know if it would be worth it, but it’s beautiful on. I highly recommend. I’ve even considered purchasing another pallet in a different shade as well but I’m trying to just appreciate the beautiful one that I already own. I hope this helps. 😊

Thank you for sharing your user experiences. I have been loving the Prada foundation and the Ciele skin tint. I really love both and so easy to use and blend. I’ve been wearing and loving the Jane Iredale Hydro Pure lip gloss and they are fantastic. I have the shades Berry Red and Sangria. I’ve also been more diligent about using mineral spf everyday which I haven’t always been doing. I have the Haruharu Wonder black rice pure mineral sunscreen and the Babo daily sheer fluid mineral sunscreen. That one requires to be shaken before use. They both are lovely and I enjoy using them equally. Love everything you do and so grateful for you!!

Edit will get lip and cheek in suqqu 103. I am thinking of buying the dries norten lipstick in a type of lavender grey you once demoed. How do the brand compare to guerlain in your opinion? I'm loving the byredo mineralscape but dissapointed in the kajel pencils. I bought black and neela neela, they smudge so bad! I wish I bought the eyebrow pencil now instead 😏
Dries Van Noten are the best imo, kind of like classic lip formulas but done right. The satins are a drier satin than the Guerlain but not drying on the lips at all - just gives it a bit more grip imo. The velvets are weightless and very saturated in color.

Great video, Lexi. Trying to think what my favorites of the month are; I’m traveling so only have access to a limited supply of my makeup. Mostly revisited some old stuff. Of the new? I do like the Prada Lip Balms and the Dior Lip Maximizers(the new Lilac shade) and the Lilac blush. But honestly, wearing a whole lot of Chanel - the La Base Illuminatrice primer, the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation and the Concealer Corrector, oh the new Sweed powder, the Tom Ford Terra Bronzer, The Lawless VIntage Love Blush, random highlighters including the newest ABH one, some new cream products l. . . Just a real mishmash and very simple eyeshadow looks. It’s summer! Maybe newish, I’ve been enjoying the Chanel powder trios they came out with. I really like the Deep Mauve one.
I haven't tried anything else yet but they are sending me a couple more items and I'm looking at some things to order right now. I'll try to put up something soon after i get my order.

Were you wearing the Chantecaille under it and all over your skin? It looks great! I’ve only worn it over my DRMTLGY universal spf, which is also a little glowy. Chantecaille used to be my favorite brand, later joined by Chanel, but I haven’t purchased from them in over a year, mostly because I despise their insane price increases and cheapo packaging. I think the blushes look lovely, but the price keeps me from pulling the trigger…
I put the Chantecaille on the cheeks and under the eyes for some brightness. Chantecaille was my favorite brand when I started youtube actually so it's been sad to see the decline.

I❤ my D&G skin tint and there is coverage. I hv 5N and I am O10 in CDP and B10 in Chanel. I've gotten compliments when I wear it and it is very just skin without feeling something is on. Also I'd hold on to the Guerlain cases for your daughters. They could do a reformulation again. Could you pull out the new tube part and place it in an old silver bottom? I can't remember if anyone said. Yea I'm staying away from Guerlain lippies bc of this. I have many old beautiful cases. They should've just invested in making a lot more nudes for the old cases.

@@LexiJong a friend of mine tried and said the silver come out, but not the gold unless it was stuck in extra good and the solder does fit in Dior, but if you hv the beautiful Guerlain I would keep in there.
I LOVE the Sweed powder as a finishing powder. The mascara has become my go-to mascara. The BB releases have been beautiful. I wasn’t sure about the highlighter, but I’ve gotten compliments from my daughter when I’ve worn it, so it’s staying in my rotation. I love the liners and the shadow sticks. I’m sad D&G went in-house with their makeup. It was so lovely in formula and packaging when Shiseido was producing it for them. I love, love, love the Surratt liquid highlighters. They are SO pretty! I love the formula, but I don’t like the packaging either (which is a theme with Surratt for me) The LE skin tint with the Chantecaille Rose Glow is a great combo on you!
I believe it was in last month's. I like the Chanel trio bronzer palettes but they aren't loves for me. The light coral is a bit warmer than I prefer but it's a great formula and beautiful shade for warmer skin tones. I also bought the deepest one which I think I will use more in cooler weather as a blush. The tones are just not quite summer to me but I like the palette.

Your hair looks really pretty in a bun! I have the Suqqu lip & cheek in my Selfridges basket in the color gifted to you but noe I think I’ll add another color. I’m so irrationally peeved by the fact that the new Guerlain case. I like the silver much better too. They made such a big deal about being earth friendly. ... Why irrationally peeved? That would mean you got no reason to be unhappy 😅how about they don't care at all about anyone that spent money on the old cases. New cases are cheaper but double the price. It's not at all helping the environment but actually the opposite. That's rational reasons to be very annoyed. No one needs their lipsticks.

I'm so glad I skipped the BB Petal Glow highlight bc I hate glittery face products. We have the same skintone (MAC NW10) - have you tried Guerlain's Terracotta Healthy Glow in 00 Light Cool?? It's been a long time holy grail as the mix of cool pink blush pieces scattered throughout a light neutral brown base gives a natural faded sunburn look to my skin, similar to Gucci 01, which is another fave. Guerlain tends to reformulate this bronzer line every few yrs but this newest version, released last yr, is even better than the previous bc it now has a satin/glowy finish instead of shimmery. It's also impossible to go overboard when applying it.
I got the Bobby Brown eyeliner crayon in dark brown and grey and it’s pretty good I like it 😃😍👍🏼 the Tom Ford creme blush is so so good I didn’t think it would be that good. My other fav was the Dior rosy glow blush in bronzed glow a new fav!
I'm eyeing that new BoBo owl foundation/ powder brush that is preorder. Did u get it yet ? I have never ordered from them so idk how it works do they send it out the 29th it says preorder for release 29th. This would me my first of those . I have SG and rephr but none of these o and old Chikahodo x Sephora brush from way back 😂but I hate that brush it feels scratchy. I had to ask Google what yen equals in US amount 😂

Want to talk packaging? I bought the Chantecaille loose powder. I stood there with my mouth open when I saw the container it was in. It’s worse than a drug store case. It’s a super thin, plain, just plain awful case!
For Guerlain I hope everyone votes with their dollars and behaves like the respected customer they want to be treated as. They'd never pull this nonsense with male customers for something as unimportant as lipsticks because men don't say thank you when you slap them in the face. Oh my goodness am I ever happy that I picked up an old rouge G lipstick refill to put in the last case laying around last week. The sales associate felt there was no rush because there had to be no chance Guerlain would make the old cases obsolete! Guess she was wrong. It is so hard to understand why they would do that after making them seem like they could be an heirloom piece:(

Honestly, it kind of depends but there are certain items like lipsticks that worry me sometimes. I always try to bring a package in immediately and let it cool off before opening it. If I can get something like a lipstick in store, I will opt for that over delivery during the summer if I have the time to pick it up. I'm not really concerned about shortened longevity but more so any melting that could occur.
I think you look fantastic today, your skin looks stunning, so I will definitely order Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint when T1 comes back into stock - or although perhaps it's just your beautiful skin... 💋
Lexi, love hearing your favorites in your monthly roundup. I agree it’s all about the lip balms, lip oils & glosses lately. I do like the Prada lip balms, the GA glosses, Dior balm & glosses. I have not tried the Chantecaille ones from the new collection I will wait for a sale to purchase them, the blush & bronzer. I like the shades of the new collection it’s the packaging that makes me say wait for sale 😆. I do like Sisley lippies but I have not tried the new ones. Now just waiting for the LE baumes. I’m sure we will be seeing a video from you on those I hope 😆.

I'm loving the byredo mineralscape but dissapointed in the kajel pencils. I bought black and neela neela, they smudge so bad! I wish I bought the eyebrow pencil now instead 😏
Dries Van Noten are the best imo, kind of like classic lip formulas but done right. The satins are a drier satin than the Guerlain but not drying on the lips at all - just gives it a bit more grip imo. The velvets are weightless and very saturated in color.

Very difficult to find as would love to see the range in 'real life' I think Harrods and Selfridges may stock them but if they do, what are the chances of out of stock 😒 thank goodness for your great videos. Great video, Lexi. Trying to think what my favorites of the month are; I’m traveling so only have access to a limited supply of my makeup. Mostly revisited some old stuff. Of the new? I do like the Prada Lip Balms and the Dior Lip Maximizers(the new Lilac shade) and the Lilac blush. But honestly, wearing a whole lot of Chanel - the La Base Illuminatrice primer, the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation and the Concealer Corrector, oh the new Sweed powder, the Tom Ford Terra Bronzer, The Lawless VIntage Love Blush, random highlighters including the newest ABH one, some new cream products l. . . Just a real mishmash and very simple eyeshadow looks. It’s summer! Maybe newish, I’ve been enjoying the Chanel powder trios they came out with. I really like the Deep Mauve one.

I am furious with Guerlain. I have collected about 30 LE lipstick cases. What a slap in the face to their customers. I won't rebuy the new ones.

Great video and very helpful. I may need to try that Sisley lip balm now.. I was checking what you were wearing on your face and was happy to see it was Lisa’s skin tint. Were you wearing the Chantecaille under it and all over your skin? It looks great! I’ve only worn it over my DRMTLGY universal spf, which is also a little glowy. Chantecaille used to be my favorite brand, later joined by Chanel, but I haven’t purchased from them in over a year, mostly because I despise their insane price increases and cheapo packaging. I think the blushes look lovely, but the price keeps me from pulling the trigger…
I put the Chantecaille on the cheeks and under the eyes for some brightness. Chantecaille was my favorite brand when I started youtube actually so it's been sad to see the decline.

Is the pan removable on the Chantecaille blushes? I suppose it's a stretch, but would fit in their 3 pan palette like the philanthropy blushes do?

I❤ my D&G skin tint and there is coverage. I hv 5N and I am O10 in CDP and B10 in Chanel. I've gotten compliments when I wear it and it is very just skin without feeling something is on. Also I'd hold on to the Guerlain cases for your daughters. They could do a reformulation again. Could you pull out the new tube part and place it in an old silver bottom? I can't remember if anyone said. Yea I'm staying away from Guerlain lippies bc of this. I have many old beautiful cases. They should've just invested in making a lot more nudes for the old cases.
I'm so glad you love it! Perhaps I just need a different shade. I don't feel like it looks that great on me. I will definitely hold on to the Guerlain cases. That is a great idea to trade bottoms. I will have to check that out. Thank you for the suggestion!
@@LexiJong a friend of mine tried and said the silver come out, but not the gold unless it was stuck in extra good and the solder does fit in Dior, but if you hv the beautiful Guerlain I would keep in there.

I LOVE the Sweed powder as a finishing powder. The mascara has become my go-to mascara.
The BB releases have been beautiful. I wasn’t sure about the highlighter, but I’ve gotten compliments from my daughter when I’ve worn it, so it’s staying in my rotation. I love the liners and the shadow sticks.
I’m sad D&G went in-house with their makeup. It was so lovely in formula and packaging when Shiseido was producing it for them.
I love, love, love the Surratt liquid highlighters. They are SO pretty! I love the formula, but I don’t like the packaging either (which is a theme with Surratt for me)
The LE skin tint with the Chantecaille Rose Glow is a great combo on you!

I was wondering how you felt about the Chanel palette? Was it in last months?
I believe it was in last month's. I like the Chanel trio bronzer palettes but they aren't loves for me. The light coral is a bit warmer than I prefer but it's a great formula and beautiful shade for warmer skin tones. I also bought the deepest one which I think I will use more in cooler weather as a blush. The tones are just not quite summer to me but I like the palette.

Your hair looks really pretty in a bun! I have the Suqqu lip & cheek in my Selfridges basket in the color gifted to you but noe I think I’ll add another color. I’m think the Chanel are just a tiny bit too sticky, so I have a feeling I’ll love these. How do they compare to CdP? Wow! Love the Trish eyeliner color! I’m so irrationally peeved by the fact that the new Guerlain case. I like the silver much better too. They made such a big deal about being earth friendly. I can’t find either Chantecaille goa or sirrena on thei website. Does anyone know if they are discontinuing these?
... Why irrationally peeved? That would mean you got no reason to be unhappy 😅how about they don't care at all about anyone that spent money on the old cases. New cases are cheaper but double the price. It's not at all helping the environment but actually the opposite. That's rational reasons to be very annoyed. No one needs their lipsticks.

I'm so glad I skipped the BB Petal Glow highlight bc I hate glittery face products. We have the same skintone (MAC NW10) - have you tried Guerlain's Terracotta Healthy Glow in 00 Light Cool?? It's been a long time holy grail as the mix of cool pink blush pieces scattered throughout a light neutral brown base gives a natural faded sunburn look to my skin, similar to Gucci 01, which is another fave. Guerlain tends to reformulate this bronzer line every few yrs but this newest version, released last yr, is even better than the previous bc it now has a satin/glowy finish instead of shimmery. It's also impossible to go overboard when applying it.
Yes I have that one and I think it's a great shade but I'm just not huge on the fragrance of the Guerlain so the Gucci still wins for me.
I got the Bobby Brown eyeliner crayon in dark brown and grey and it’s pretty good I like it 😃😍👍🏼 the Tom Ford creme blush is so so good I didn’t think it would be that good. My other fav was the Dior rosy glow blush in bronzed glow a new fav!

I'm eyeing that new BoBo owl foundation/ powder brush that is preorder. Did u get it yet ? I have never ordered from them so idk how it works do they send it out the 29th it says preorder for release 29th. This would me my first of those . I have SG and rephr but none of these o and old Chikahodo x Sephora brush from way back 😂but I hate that brush it feels scratchy. I had to ask Google what yen equals in US amount 😂

Want to talk packaging? I bought the Chantecaille loose powder. I stood there with my mouth open when I saw the container it was in. It’s worse than a drug store case. It’s a super thin, plain, just plain awful case!

Oh my goodness am I ever happy that I picked up an old rouge G lipstick refill to put in the last case laying around last week. The sales associate felt there was no rush because there had to be no chance Guerlain would make the old cases obsolete! Guess she was wrong. It is so hard to understand why they would do that after making them seem like they could be an heirloom piece:(
I guess they haven't passed on the message yet to their departments! I am still so disappointed about it.

Hello Lexi, curious about your thoughts on shipping during high summer temperatures. Are you concerned about shortened longevity or melted lip products or other damage to formulas? Thanks in advance
Honestly, it kind of depends but there are certain items like lipsticks that worry me sometimes. I always try to bring a package in immediately and let it cool off before opening it. If I can get something like a lipstick in store, I will opt for that over delivery during the summer if I have the time to pick it up. I'm not really concerned about shortened longevity but more so any melting that could occur.

Lexi, love hearing your favorites in your monthly roundup. I agree it’s all about the lip balms, lip oils & glosses lately. I do like the Prada lip balms, the GA glosses, Dior balm & glosses. I have not tried the Chantecaille ones from the new collection I will wait for a sale to purchase them, the blush & bronzer. I like the shades of the new collection it’s the packaging that makes me say wait for sale 😆. I do like Sisley lippies but I have not tried the new ones. Now just waiting for the LE baumes. I’m sure we will be seeing a video from you on those I hope 😆.
