@@dusty_muff I'm referring to Gio's skill level, Not being the best. Patato Valdez & Francisco Aguabella, are two different drummers and have different styles...Changuito, another style...

yea for sure 1000 % one of the best for ever in history .. his fast but i can hear tata guiness from australia mate ..everything is tata ..technically is not as good as la mole ortiz . i can go on and on finding someone does better but that not the point and it will allways be.. GIOVANNI HIDALGO IS UNIC BUT NOT BETTER

It’s all a question of style of course speed, technic as the great Papin of Los Papines always said , but Hidalgo has played with everyone all the greats in all genres of music . No other congero alive today can say that.
Tata Guines never in his prime years had the hand speed,accuracy and improvisation phrasing, people just can't come to terms that a Puerto Rican born artist and genius can be given proper recognition.
