This unit is clean and all but they really should’ve made his absorb be active all the time. It would’ve made him so much better if he absorbed but didn’t heal if above 70% than just not absorb at all
I mean they have 54% damage reduction and ki blast based supers are somewhat rare anyways plus once super 17 has taken a few hits he’s basically untouchable so it doesn’t matter that much anyways
The fact that he tanks so well but needs to take damage for the absorbtion to be relevant is really weird to me, even if he absorbs you're gonna heal like 0 because he just tanks so well, so a nullification with less/ no conditions would've been better for his kit overall but he still tanks anything so in the end it doesn't change much
That and 34% damage reduction even before becoming Super 17. The way this unit is designed is that they want you to use it in slot one, but they don’t give you the means to tank in slot one. The dodge isn’t enough nowadays.
The nullification works well with his Active Skill and his scouter: since you will get Super 17 below 70% HP but needs some build-up, you can prevent him from getting one-shotted by Ki Blast Super Attacks while healing for the entire rotation on top of knowing when the Super is in dangerous situations (below 34% HP).
Honestly not sure why Dokkan continues to pump out units with Super class and Goku restrictions and yet refuse to make a red zone level difficulty bosses with them.
This unit basically becomes an unstoppable force of destruction once they transform. You really want to put them in the slot with the most attacks so they can build up their defense fast. Once they triple super fully built up + transformed, nothing can hurt them
It's nice of Dokkan to release the first major villain character in 6 months, give him no other support besides 1 banner character, then EZA some random Super Class F2P unit
The Super 17 goes crazy but like...pre-transformation you have to make sure they're not slot 1. Plus if you're in hard content and the enemy is doing a AOE attack, game over. I wanted this unit to be a LR (LR Hellfighter 17 and Android 17) but we get a TUR instead for the Duo unit. Whatever...makes no sense why they hold back on Extreme Units so hard. It's like they want Extreme units to always be behind.
@@swordswinger5 the main issue is, there's not really one that also pairs with the 17s. Gero and Myuu are decent I guess but they only work well vs a Goku enemy. Plus you don't get many options for the 200% lead as a whole, either, as some of the best androids are super class, and NOT on Target: Goku or Joined Forces.
What were they smoking with restricting his ki blast absorption like that? Apparently any super 17 after the AGL one had to have any least one design flaw
i'm on the fence about this unit because they have the potential to be really good. thanks to the current endgame events though, it looks like super 17 takes a lot of effort to build. while their leader skill is very good ("Target: Goku" is an amazing villain lead), they literally have a restriction that hurts other team building options around them. some of the best "Android" units are super class and being locked out of a huge stat bonus because of that does not help this unit at all, it's ridiculous. trading 70% ATK&DEF so they can run gammas/hacchan&17 would be less annoying, if they weren't locked out of an extra 17% chance to dodge as a defensive option if they aren't facing a super class enemy. coupled with the fact this unit also lacks BBB despite leading a category with units full of it and being locked to 17% dodge against almost every challenging fight in game, i think this unit is built a little weird. as funky as this card can be, the super 17 portion is very good though so i hope we get more extreme units to help the fusion condition be less painful to achieve
This unit is good but the first 5 turns are gonna be scary for this unit but once transformed he's able to tank most content very easily plus the absorb below 70% it's not best but it can be a run saving ability
Yeah this guy with his full 170% def(10 hits) is the best tur. Even without the extra 17% dr, he still has 34% with around 500k def and greatly raising def on super. 2 supers and he’s at 1mil with 34%dr. Let’s not forget the ki blast absorption below 70% hp. Biggest weakness is getting the transformation for sure.

Super 17 is pretty good, but he could have been better. 1. Make his active condition easier. 70% HP or below AND 5 turns is not great. 2. Don’t make him get hit 10 times for his full defensive buff. By the time he fuses, the fight is most likely on its second-last or last stage (unless it’s a super long event). His starting defense isn’t that impressive and his damage reduction doesn’t fully protect him. 3. Absorb should have been unconditional.
I really like this unit. I also don’t like this unit. Definitely needs better team members and hopefully that’s what we get in the coming months because right now the kit is “I’m just as bad as every android unit on my team until turn 7 and then my team is gonna lose me the game anyways.” And the crazy thing is the stats in this are with good linking partners and 100%. If my man has 260k defense with good links and fully built then at 55% this unit is going to look awful guys I’m sorry.

Probably my favorite little detail to show that while they can be great, they can also slip up just like anybody else. They're not terrible like a lot of people were saying, but they're not unstoppable gods from the very beginning. I'll be saving stones and coins for him.

I will tell you it’s because he does not nullify and absorb the super he only absorbs ki blast supers but if your not under 70% HP when you get supered then you don’t absorb and you take all the damage 😂😂 I’ve been telling people since I seen his info that he is mid

He's okay, too many restrictions he should have being turn 4 Free transformation and he's ki absorption, and like 5 hits poof good extreme unit but nope he's just good okay
He badly needed to be a slot 1 tank even before transformation. Right now he doesn't help any of his teams to function at all unfortunately, and extreme units are still in a very bad spot.
Did we forget gamma 1 has 50% damage reduction for the full duration of the fight after 5 hits around 450-500k def and gets 30% atk and def on super and gives Allies ki and def?? Yea gamma one is still better
We didn't forget, we just don't like Gamma units because they're not good linkers to the recent meta and only few categories, I agree that the kit is very op but it does not mean that it is so fun to use. One thing that we Dokkan players always like is to see these new units for a while, and it is somewhat fun.
Super 17 now 1 million or above defence doing 3× more damage has ki base super absorption below 70% ( gurranted ) and heal 34% hp and has 51% damage reduction for 4 turns then 34%
Okay I seen super 17 in action and I’m ready made mine mind. He’s seem good, idk why but I feel like super 17 is giving me str cooler vibes for some reason in a opposite way. In cooler, cooler is like a defense character, but when he transform, he becomes a offense character. For some reason super 17 is like cooler but a opposite way.
If you can get 4 super in one go (additional with med chance, guarantee super if theres super type enemy, HPotential) everytime untill the guarantee super passive is gone he can do decent damage not to mention he shares full link with agl s17
this guy isnt really busted tbh, he's only good. remember this showcase aint 55 percent and lvl 1 links theres a bunch of negative about this guys : - base form is not good in todays standard. - takes a long of time to build up that 170 percent defence. you need 10 hits. - he lost his 51 percent guard into 34 percent, after 4 turns. with only 350k ish defence. although he hits hard, i rather pick the gammas over him. but its good to have units on android teams
yeah true, but if there was this boss that's only tanky but does a minch of a damage, this Bois can stack their ATK up a lot.. then again they also need more additional super's

His defense when fully built up is more like 500k with 34% dmg reduction so he is still pretty good, but not as good as he could have been

....I have no idea lol. I think he should have absorbed that 🤣. Broly's str and agl phase are definitely ki blasts and absorbtion is not evasion (which broly cancels) and he was under 70% at start of turn. Maybe the revival skill triggered a bug idk.
I will tell you it’s because he does not nullify and absorb the super he only absorbs ki blast supers but if your not under 70% HP when you get supered then you don’t absorb and you take all the damage 😂😂 I’ve been telling people since I seen his info that he is mid

@@StarNameKev true then the only thing I can think of is it’s bugged at the moment or it doesn’t consider AOE supers to be aimed super attacks in so the wording is so specific that you can only get supered with supers that only hit him and no one else and they must be ki blasted and you must be under 70% HP at the start of the turn witch makes him even worse lol 😂😂

He badly needed to be a slot 1 tank even before transformation. Right now he doesn't help any of his teams to function at all unfortunately, and extreme units are still in a very bad spot.
Did we forget gamma 1 has 50% damage reduction for the full duration of the fight after 5 hits around 450-500k def and gets 30% atk and def on super and gives Allies ki and def?? Yea gamma one is still better

We didn't forget, we just don't like Gamma units because they're not good linkers to the recent meta and only few categories, I agree that the kit is very op but it does not mean that it is so fun to use. One thing that we Dokkan players always like is to see these new units for a while, and it is somewhat fun.
Super 17 now 1 million or above defence doing 3× more damage has ki base super absorption below 70% ( gurranted ) and heal 34% hp and has 51% damage reduction for 4 turns then 34%

Okay I seen super 17 in action and I’m ready made mine mind. He’s seem good, idk why but I feel like super 17 is giving me str cooler vibes for some reason in a opposite way. In cooler, cooler is like a defense character, but when he transform, he becomes a offense character. For some reason super 17 is like cooler but a opposite way.

If you can get 4 super in one go (additional with med chance, guarantee super if theres super type enemy, HPotential) everytime untill the guarantee super passive is gone he can do decent damage not to mention he shares full link with agl s17

I like this unit a lot actually after seeing them now. I like the dodge and crit build up per attack in base form and the kit post transformation ^^

this guy isnt really busted tbh, he's only good. remember this showcase aint 55 percent and lvl 1 links
theres a bunch of negative about this guys :
- base form is not good in todays standard.
- takes a long of time to build up that 170 percent defence. you need 10 hits.
- he lost his 51 percent guard into 34 percent, after 4 turns. with only 350k ish defence.
although he hits hard, i rather pick the gammas over him. but its good to have units on android teams
yeah true, but if there was this boss that's only tanky but does a minch of a damage, this Bois can stack their ATK up a lot.. then again they also need more additional super's
The card is looking cool, but Gammas are definitely best Androids tur.

untransformed they are not good, they dont do enough. You really need to transform them to be really good and surviving until then is difficult.
What good does it do to deal 25 million damage a turn If before getting there you get obliterated by other outdated units in the team?
They need to show extreme characters more support and love with good EZAs, otherwise what's even the point of releasing non-saiyan extreme DFEs anymore?
