Celestion Creamback M vs Neo vs Jensen C12K vs P10R, Tube town Emma Speaker comparison Overdrive

Telecaster from 0:05 - 2:15, Les Paul from 2:15 - 4:30. I've used the same amp settings for each speaker and guitar ! So you really can hear the difference between the speakers, of course using the same settings doesn't bring out the best sound for the amp/speaker/guitar combination ! The Jensen C12K for example would need way more treble from the amp with the les paul - with the tele it sounds pretty nice and full, but to show the drastic differences it's the best way to do it like that (if you ask me, and i made the vid ;)

Nice work on the headshell work there mate! Personally, I like the clean sounds but overdrive are not really my cup of tea (at least here in the recording). How does it sound compared to the 5E3 it's based on? To my ears, it sounds nothing like a tweed deluxe here. P.S. This video also re-confirms my belief that the speaker and the cabinet make probably the biggest difference in sound. :)

Thanks for the comment. I agree - the speaker (s) make a huge difference and probably the biggest when it comes to tuning the sound to your personal preferences. Because i got no 5E3 i can't compare it, from all what i've heard on YT vids, it's pretty close. By the way: The manufacturer of the kit claims that it sounds 90% 5E3 ...... but i guess that's again a matter of speaker choice ect. Anyway, i like it a lot, the kit is pretty cheap in price and it was a fun build, so for me: This amp is a winner.

it's when you hit the overdrive pedal that speakers start to sound very different
I only really like the G12M Creamback, if you had a Greenback I would probably like it even better.
