Funny bit: In an outtake for the first scene, after Logan and Storm kiss, Halle Berry cheered “YEEESS!!” as she walks away.
I was just thinking that and then saw your comment lol
Hugh jackman being hot helped him lol
Fun fact: he’s gay
lol would have loved to see that
Searching for it now
The last scene with Stryker made way more sense than what they went with. Not sure why they chose to make it seem like he was actually Mystique.
Originally there were plans to do more spin-off films. Hugh though had grown tired of the studio not delivering on a comic accurate Wolverine plus he wanted to be part of the MCU. Fox had very different plans for the third Wolverine film, although none of those plans are public. You could assume it was a Wolverine and Mystique film given the tease at the end of the film plus the characters have a rich history in the comics. Hugh however had different ideas and essentially told the studio he’d do one more film, but his way or they can forget about doing anymore with him. After the success of Deadpool they decided to go with Hugh’s wish. So the Mystique tease at the end of DoFP was never realised and ultimately makes no sense whatsoever, but like most things in the Fox-Men films, things not making sense is common practice. Guess we can chalk it up to Deadpool time travelling and multiverse hopping.
Yup. Basically my only gripe about the movie. Even though it was traumatic for Logan, everybody wants him to have the adamantium.
@joeblankenship377 And here, my favorite scene was when Logan tells Charles to find all the mainline X-men and calls everyone by their real name but calls Ororo, Storm. Which is a name she gave herself AFTER Charles recruits her.
Made even worse considering they're on frenching terms in the deleted scenes. Dude should know that's not her real name but... the writers clearly didn't.
1:20 reminds me of the episode of 90s X-Men where in an alternate future wolverine and storm were married and fighting the sentinels
Once one man's worth is the episode I was just about to comment but you already got it
So that means Storm and Wolverine we’re getting it on in between movies.
He went with her over Mariko
Mystica too
@@emilypalumbo20 Sure. Hell, I bet Mystique’s banged just about everyone and most of them didn’t know it was her lol
Just like in an alternate reality episode of the 90s animated series.
Wolverine is such a hound 😅
Remember how spoiled we were in 2014! Start the summer with some Captain America The Winter Soldier, then you get this incredible X-Men film, followed by a nice summer break from the disaster of Amazing Spiderman 2, only to be welcomed back by Guardians of the Galaxy!
ASM2 wasn't even all that bad. Was a little better than most foxverse movies.
@@yghostestI don't know about that but it is over hated
That brief moment when Logan almost attacked Hank was kinda unnecessary, though funny, I’m glad they cut it out
It explains that his adamantium is neccesary to help him control his healing factor of turning him into an animal
@@tauracoon4172lmao what? His healing factor doesn’t turn him into an animal. He only attacked Hank because he briefly slipped back into the future and past Wolverine doesn’t know Hank
@@Banestudent21 It does actually, and thats the direction x men 97 are going atm when magneto removed the adamantium from his body. Logans natural mutation would turn him into more wild and feral but when they gave him the adamantium his healing factor was constantly occupied and it is pretty much the only restrain keeping him normal. if no adamantium = grr
you should read more comics
I have no idea what was the idea of this scene only but all in all its true
@@user-rf2pg4xm2v the presence of adamantium in his body and occupying his healing factor isn't what restrains him (otherwise he'd be a lunatic for the rest of DOFP and for half of Origins since he doesn't have it then either) and his healing factor isn't tied to his aggression, he goes feral after losing the adamantium because of the trauma of the adamantium being ripped out, not just because there's now an absence of adamantium
It's interesting how that shot of wolverine laying there at the end makes him genuinely look like sabretooth/Liev
The best X-Men film of all-time.
Of. All. Time.
No, X2 was that good.
I’d say it’s a toss up between this movie, Logan and X2
Days of future past is good but could be better. We didn't have enough screentime with Rogue, Cyclops and Jean Grey
Nah. First Class was better
Im not into dudes but can we all agree that Hugh Jackman was one sexy beast in that movie😂.
You're into dudes.
Ghey Lord
I am @/////@
He is apparently. People on Broadway called it the worst kept secret.
@@JT-gl5oupfft that's kinda funny, all the power to him tho, i like dudes too, not the thing i expected to have in common with wolverine but i will take it
Before Avengers Endgame, Days of Future Past was
The X-Men's plan to rewrite the future has a flaw. Deleting the dark future would mean deleting the very reason Logan traveled back in time. If the dark future never happened, Logan never went back, then the dark future happens again, Logan goes back, the dark future never happened, Logan never went back, then the dark future happens again, Logan goes back, the dark future never happened, Logan never went back, then the dark future happens again, Logan goes back. Although we see the dark future fade, it's still illogical
@@yudhazacharias9377meh not really. The present is still the present until Kitty breaks the connection. It’s eliminated at the end. Only Wolverine remembers and ultimately Charles because he looked through Logan’s brain. So it’s not a loop per say, but more like pruning the timeline and letting it grow out from the point it was cut.
Logan wakes up in his present body once the timeline caught up to the point he was sent back.
Makes sense to me.
@@thefilmrookie3099 good point. But then Logan should have been erased too, his mind I mean, any residual of a previous timeline should be gone
@@yudhazacharias9377Bruce Banner explained time travel in Avengers. It makes sense.
@@yudhazacharias9377 I mean, his mind and consciousness are connected to the past now. He can’t wake for that reason, if he does, the universe just transforms into the world it would become. Think of it like Logan’s present consciousness being in a coma until it reaches the point in time where he slipped to the past.
So it does make sense for him to remember. And now that it’s confirmed canon to the McU expansive universe, the multiverse module does kind of change that now. Logan was set back in the timeline and created a new branched reality. Which means prof X and all the other mutants on the main timeline are dead🙃 and Logan’s consciousness simply got stuck in that new branched reality.
04:32 That line: He's alive 😂😂😂, in the movie he said : You kidding me??? this guy is still alive. That makes more sense, he was under water for hours, glad that they re-recorted this
It’s not redone because it was bad. It’s just on set audio, editors use it for timing when doing the assembly and rough cut.
But they knew he was a mutant so not so "you kidding"
@@thefilmrookie3099That makes sense, that line sounds pathetic
is so weird to see unfinished green screen
You forgot it wasn’t real lol
X-Men franchise is one of the best franchise. There's ups and downs but it is amazing. It is a good choice to focus the franchise on Wolverine instead of making solo movies for each characters except for X-Men First Class. It has good beginning and good ending, atleast some franchise know when to quit. People just hating for small things like bad cgi (that wolverine claw scene in X-Men Origins just only that bathroom scene, the rest is fine). Also this franchise did not shy from violent especially this movie. Everyone died horrific death, making it more important to succeed.
edit: I hate when people just trashtalk Fox X-Men franchise and act like MCU gonna save it. Naahhh, have you see MCU these days?
I have a question to ask. What’s your opinion on the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
making wolverine the main character is fine but they dropped the ball on so many other characters. origins had issues with the story more than the cgi, I think, they retconned a lot and that movie didn't really add anything new to the mix, other than showing us some new characters like blob etc.
I think it's the missed potential people are annoyed about, take this movie, be get bishop but he has a couple of scenes and that's it. Bishop is such a cool character and he's forgettable, like so many others
@@RehmatDeen In the X-Men trilogy and X-Men Days of Future Past, Wolverine isn't the only main character, so are Jean Grey, Professor Xavier, Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Magneto and Mystique.
The Logan and Storm kiss is Kayfabe. These two have genuine sexual chemistry with each other but never got to explore that onscreen (swordfish, X-men, X2, X3 last stand) therefore this deleted scene encapsulates this. Halle finds Hugh really attractive in real life (she loves her white men) and wanted to have a passionate moment with him. They wrote and shot this scene but it didn’t make the final cut due to lack of continuity but the subtext is all there.
The hell kind stupid wannabe word is kayfabe?

I would have used the alternate Logan recovery scene at the end, the version we got in both cuts of the final movie it doesn’t make sense for Mystique to be pretending to be Stryker
Exactly, I always hated that ending. Why would it be her. Unless she's going to free him but she could've gotten him without the military. It would make much more sense for the real Stryker to recover him.
The last scene should have been in the movie instead of the mystique reveal. It makes much more scenes instead of the one we got.
Exactly and it would have been so cool to think that logan having to go back in time to stop the sentinels from being created, ultimately caused him to be captured by Stryker and become part of the weapon X program.
My thoughts exactly. Mystique reveal in the original made no sense
@@KlaymenDelso I'm not the only one who didn't get that moment with mystique and Stryker
@@KlaymenDel Especially since they never explained what happened in Apocalypse.
Absolutely, makes no sense at all
I feel the "just put down x" instead of raven being stryker wouldve fit better
I really love this movie
Great scene and a fun flick to watch. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, yeah, and Logan, marvelous...
feels like Stryker ratting out Trask was supposed to be Mystique in disguise, then it will be revealed that Stryker was actually on the boat fishing out Logan
Awesome deleted scenes of my favoritee Marvel movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Not marvel, fox
It's Marvel, fox is the studio@@alio6051
@@alio6051It is a Marvel movie, just not a MCU one
The real ending of mystique finding Logan is so pointless because in Apocalypse the real striker has Logan so an ending with a more accurate adaptation of Striker like a sane mad scientist just makes more sense
Wtf! This kiss between Logan and Storm reeeally took me by surprise.
1:56 actual Marvel postproducción CGI
Would've liked some explaining on how Shadowcat can send someone's consciousness back in time. Thought her only powers were phasing thru walls
Some of these deleted scenes would've added more depth to this movie if they were kept in the film. It's a shame they weren't kept in the film.
just realised that one agent looks like marikplier 3:04
Best
Last scene then should be ending id on't know why Bryan use mystics transform striker
Same thing
Bruh…why am I now just seeing this Logan and Storm kissing scene…I would’ve loved to have seen this more explored..damn
Years later, I still can't believe that Rogue was edited out of Days of Future Past. Poor decision making plain and simple.
This film needs a Snider Cut, rediculous.
Dude the rogue cut exists
There is an alternate cut with Rogue's scenes restored, it's called "The Rogue Cut", honestly I can see why they cut those parts, they're not really relevant to the story
@@alexwallar8608put some respect on Rogue. She and Logan were at the beginning
Wolverine & Storm! That would've been great. Since Wolvie has dated or had romantic relationship with most of them women from X-men.
"I don't ont think machine are the answer. We need some mutants on our side." Also a great take.
Wolverine is a huge jacked man
X men , x men 2, first class and days of future past best x men projects to come out of fox.
wowwwwwwwwwwwww
“Wat do u mean wat am I doing wat r u doing” u was abt 2 stab me.
This was my favorite X-Men film. The only thing I did not like, but I guess I understand, is that the Sentinels were completely unstoppable. I know that was the point, but for the X-Men to be completely useless, pis%ed me off. I can understand when the Sentinels were in groups against one, but I wanted to see at least some take downs. I did not like the how in the Rogue cut they made it imply that they only went back for her because of what happened to Kitty. And then Ice Man dying despite Magneto having all that metal at his disposal. They made Magneto weak, Ice Man weak, Storm, and especially Sun Spot weak.
Why Mystique taking logan from the river? I never understand.
@@SajidAli-id4whsame never understood that
They took down a few in the movie. Not a lot but a few
They are all better than the original movie scenes
😮😮😮
kind of a bummer bishop, warpath and sunspot all got the little roles they did in this movie n then just did not show up again
That Logan and Storm kiss was so out of left field, thank god it didn’t make the final cut.
Why they always had such good chemistry
Could be worse
Logan could have kissed Kitty Pryde
It's a comic book reference.
NO, I LIKE IT.
they actually were together in a lot of the comics. but even if you didn't know that, imagine you spend years fighting with the same partner who you respect and love and come to find out you have to save the world and no one will ever know. why wouldn't you kiss your best friend in a moment of vulnerability and love. maybe a hot opinion but I wish they kept it in
They should've put this in the movie
Days of future past is the best X-Men prequel cast (primarily) trilogy, X2 is the best classic X-Men film and Logan is the best in the Wolverine trilogy
They should have kept the last scene in the film. The fact that Stryker's eyes turned yellow at the end made this film dumb and forgettable...
I wish they'd bring Omar Sy as Bishop back... great character, not enough screen time.
Yo estaba esperando el YEEEEESS y no salió.
Yes in the original animated series there was an episode called one man's worth where a separate still being future then the Days of Future past storm in wolverine we're married
They should have kept the scene with Storm!!
This is the most lines some of those characters speak....ii bet it was cut to not pay them
How strange, I remember seeing the scene with Wolverine and Storm kissing in the cinema.
❤ok men
Ellen Paige’s last role before she turned into a dude😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha, you're such trash, so funny. it's SO funny how much of a 12 year old bully you are.
I want the Future to be safe for all mutants but I also want Storm and Wolverine together too ☹
Wonder what he meant by “ that wouldn’t be the first time “ when the other guy said “ you’d be a stranger in a strange land “ …. 2013 Wolverine maybe ?
2nd film Hugh and Halle starred in together. Other being Swordfish❤
Ahh when Ellen page didn’t saw her chest with a cheese grater and was a beautiful woman, that whole situation is sad all joking aside, I joke to cope with serious emotions
I always liked the idea of Wolverine and Storm together. Too bad it hasn't been much explored not even in comics. I know they were together in alternate timeline but it would've been cool for canon.
They were together in a episode of the animated series
This would have been in the movie.
Honestly am now interested to know what happened to this Wolverine after knowing what we know about this multiverse
He in Deadpool 3
Wolverine x Storm >>>>>> Wolverine x Jean Grey
Real
I’m sure they cut the first bit because Jimmy is SHORTER than ‘Berto? Please. Jimmy is like 7ft and jacked. He should have been bigger than Bishop, even standing in the back!
That ending would of been well better. I didn't like it when his eyes shined orange, it was daft.
great film but there is no way Nixon would take a bullet
What I absolutely hated was how it was supposed to be Kitty Pryde going back in time by Rachel Summers
But since they keep making Wolverine the main character in every X-Men movie he's in....
Bro, people like you just want to hate.
It literally wouldn't make sense for anyone else to go back, expect Logan.
It's an undeniable fact, that he is the clear and right pick for the job.
He's the one you call on to get shit done. In situations this damn important, you'd be an absolute moron to want anyone else but Logan.
So, in summary, quit sucking her cock and come back to reality.
They never introduced Rachel Summers, that's why.
I get that you want to go for comic accuracy, but Kitty wouldn’t have even been born yet
Well the franchise up to this point was about wolverine and this was supposed to be the swan song for the old cast. Kitty wasn’t introduced till x3 and wasn’t in that big of a role.
No one would wanna see non-binary kitty pryde go back in time. Girl who plays her can’t act. Logan is our guy that’s it
And after this event, The man who wiped out the X-men is wolverine or the professor not the robots.
Why they used green screen in centinel attack at the past 😂
Logan and storm?! What?? 😮😮😮
For better or for worse
I'll always prefer Fox's X-Men over the MCU
Even the bad ones can be good on their own, and have something better to offer than the MCU
Same dude same. I agree.
Fox X-Men has illogical time travel rule. The X-Men's plan to rewrite the future has a flaw. Deleting the dark future would mean deleting the very reason Logan traveled back in time. Although we see the dark future fade, it's still illogical
@@yudhazacharias9377 The movie already explain to you by Beast in one scene. It kinda more like Flashpoint. Beast said changing the event not gonna change the ending. In original timeline, all mutants died by Sentinel but after Wolverine saved the future, the results still the same since mutants died in different way in Logan by chemical in the foods.
@@markhenzel4637 chemical in the foods does not lead Logan to time travel back bro. Marty McFly was lucky that in the 2nd timeline where he has a happy family, he and Doc are still friends, and that still lead him to time travel back. BTTF did it right. This one, no

The X-Men's plan to rewrite the future has a flaw. Deleting the dark future would mean deleting the very reason Logan traveled back in time. Although we see the dark future fade, it's still illogical
That depends on what type of time travel rules you're using for this universe.
In Dragon Ball Z, Future Trunks was able to go to the past and warn them about the androids, thus changing the future, but not his own future. In his own timeline all was as it always had been
@@VikzeLink Look, the fact that the dark future faded implies that it is BTTF rule, and so, by that logic, Logan's time traveling should have been undone, along with all of his efforts in the movie, there's the flaw. I know this is a different rule, but this rule has a flaw
@@VikzeLink if the old future is undone, then Logan's actions should have been undone. I am fine with BTTF time travel rule, but there's the flaw. Marty McFly is lucky that in the 2nd timeline, he and Doc are still friends, and that allows him to still time travel back in the first place
@@yudhazacharias9377 Maybe it wasn't a fade away from the dark future then. Maybe the fade was just a fade between timelines
@@VikzeLink yes, logically, the dark future has* to exist to preserve Logan's time travel. If it's a fade between timelines, then sorry Patrick Stewart, you're dead. If it's not, then the writers are just stupid.
