I shot in the same range and taken some of the classes with you; and bro it’s true what you say, sometimes it feels like someone is firing a howitzer next to you. Doubling up on ear protection is wise. Especially indoor ranges the sound ecos very loud.

YES. Even with the acoustic paneling that they thankfully have, it can be loud, depending on what someone is shooting.
I was there yesterday and someone started shooting a Desert Eagle two lanes over. THAT was a bit jarring when it started. Thankfully, I was doubled up on my hearing. 👍🏼
