You did a great job. My incra router fence and table takes up ALOT of room....most likely more than your shaper. Its one the first thing I bought years ago and regret buying. Keep making videos.
Hi 👋, very interesting, I have used both like yourself, you might be interested to know, that there is a company called Felder, make various different grades of machine, I have a K7 series I believe it’s called, and you can take out the spindle moulder shaft, and replace it with a router shaft, the change over takes probably 2 to 3 minutes, and then you can change the router bit in a matter of seconds, what makes it even better still is that you can tilt the head as well, as for your router burning out, or bearings, breaking up or seizing, it could probably do with clean out once or twice a week at least, there is a company called Maffel that do actually make a router to fit into a table, if you look at Sauter-shop, Germany, you will see their routers , and I’m sure if you get the details, you could probably find it in the US or Canada, these rotors are very very good, I am a retired specialist Joiner / cabinet maker, have approximately 50 years in the trade, keep up the great work. Stay safe. Look forward to seeing you next video., Phil from the moulin France.

How did you get the 4 3/4 inch flush trimming bit working on your shaper ? I think my spindles are not wide enough.

Thank you for explaining what a shaper tool does and who it is for. It reminds me of a router on steroids.
Thanks for watching!
