I worked out for 2 years, I did get my body in proper shape except for my thighs but my weight didn't reduce and instead it increased , after I saw your video I started doing the same as you by walking with resistance bands after lunch and dinner. I started this journey in 2022 and now it's 2023 and I've lost 6 kgs if weight and also lost 2 inches from my thighs, all thanks to you ☺️

Guys I tried this. 1 hr on treadmill (at speed of 3.0-4.5 and incline level zero) for 2 weeks and there is visible difference. My legs are slimmer and have a thigh gap now. Note: I m also in calorie deficit and do simple abs excercise of 5 min max.

first day today, I used a strong strength resistance band. Walked for 4.60km. Tip: to stop from sliding down or riding up... is to not think about that you have resistance band and just walk. And don’t touch. For the first 10 mins of my walk i stopped 3 times because it keep sliding down but once I got the hangout of it and stop thinking about it. I manage to walk for 50 min without stopping to fix it.

@@olesmokey394 550-600 calories a day is not sustainable at all and nowhere near healthy. Not only will your hair fall out, feel tired 24/7 and have your period stop (if you're a person with a uterus) you will also gain the weight that you will lose back very, VERY quickly. Your body will start to adapt to the insufficient amount of calories you eat and it will mess up your metabolism, making losing weight harder and gaining weight way easier.
@@olesmokey394 you are going to throw your body into something called starvation mode, no matter what weight or how old you are you can do this to your body. Most people’s response is, “I’m not starving, I’m eating 550-600 calories a day.” Well, you are starving. Walking 10 miles a day burns 700-1000 calories! Meaning your body burned all its food away, so now it has nothing to feed its organs and cells.
I got myself resistance bands because of you. No regrets... except for sometimes forgetting to wear them as much as I want to (lol). It makes it a bit challenging getting over baby gates, but I'm managing!

I also do not have "fat/big legs", but they are relatively big compared with my torso (my thighs: 50 cm, my waist: 66 cm). Plus, I eat at a light calorie deficit since always, because I prefer so. Me and my husband are pescatarian for 12 yrs now and we are born and living in Genoa, Italy, aka tons of greens and mediterranean healty diet base. Sorry for my not-so-fluent english, but I felt that I had to be honest with you, to be "useful" within a month or two!👍

Zoe, are you experiencing or have you ever experienced in your resistance band walking journey, a sense of appetite, a strong hunger during the day, as you now need quite much more food? I am in it rn, I eat more, but trying to stay at least at my maintenance level.
For those who don’t have a safe area to walk outside, I got a walking pad off amazon for $99 and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done! In just 20 min, I can walk a mile on it! Never have to worry about the weather or time of day or safety!

I've been walking 5-10 km almost everyday for the last three months because I broke up with my boyfriend and I guess I wanted to evade myself or something like that. I haven't lost a single kg 😂😭 That's how messed up my diet is. But I'll keep going, I really love walking.

However, muscle is dense & compact while fat is fluffy. The muscle boosts your bmr, meaning its existence in your body causes you to burn more calories without doing anything. When gaining muscle & losing fat, people may notice the scale weight increasing while their body gets smaller, but this doesn’t mean the muscle weighs more. The difference is caused by addition of muscles, not a complete replacement of fat by muscle - not that the muscle itself weighs more.
It may be a good idea to help walk a friends dog too. You'd be getting exercise, helping someone out, and mayhaps making a little bit of change in the process.
I'm trying to walk a mile like you, I'm think that will be somewhat okay. But truth to be told, using resistance band felt you walking in new different world😂. I used to be walking a mile to train station but when Im using a black resistance band for minimizing embarrassment feelings, now 3 hrs later I still felt the burn on my legs😂😂😂😂😂
