Sunday morning coffee and a Nick Ferry build video. It doesn't get much better than that. :-)
+Dave Gatton ha, thanks Dave!
Enjoy surfing thru your old vids Nick. Going to make this in a couple of weeks. thanks
Awesome sauce - let me know how it goes
Close up camera angles, clean workstation, precise explanations, that's what I like about this guy Nick, nice job. :)
+Dan ny I really appreciate the kind words Dan - I often tell myself I spend too much time trying to make things "perfect" so I'm glad you are liking them!
Like the effort you put in to be close to perfect. No shortcuts in any aspect - the project, the video and you shared the plan for free. Really appreciate it.
Thanks for the kind words - always cool to hear when someone digs something I've made
You are gorgeous . Your works are all clean, I have not seen a few like you. My greetings
Thanks much
I always enjoy a clear video along with a clear commentary. Well done indeed on all counts.
I try - thanks Jack!
Izzy creates crazy jigs and you create beautiful ones! but both of you together and we have the jig master!
thanks Josh!
Nick, your precision and well thought out designs produce an amazing simple and functional aesthetic. Thanks for all you do! More blooper reels please!
thanks - it's funny you mentioned bloopers - I didn't really have any on this one but when I edited it, it felt odd not having any
Nice work. Clean and simple. The video's emphasis is on the work too, rather than the "I'm so smart, I'm a star I'm a star" stuff on so many other shop-jig video channels.
Haha thanks - made me smile
Your spline and tenon jig is only bettered by your spline & tenon fonts. You rock!
+ArchieMonk YES - you are the first to say something - I spent way too much time drawing that but I thought it was halfway cool
Just finished making your jig. Haven't tried to make tenons or splines yet, but looks good. Your're probably the first person to use a spline jig to make a spline jig. Nice video good plans. You keep em coming and I'll keep building them.
Awesome - and I use mallets to make mallets too - I’m a rebel lol
Another great video Nick.... I really like the way you are fussy and very precise in the work you do.... even your shop jigs are a work of art!!! Dave
+EMTdrummer thanks Dave - could be OCD or simply remembering what my dad taught me - to be proud of everything you do - glad to hear you liked it!
Hello from Russia and Moscow! Drew attention to the quality of your work. No chips and burrs even in the manufacture of the most simple things! Woodworking on High!
thank you
Look at you, Nick! Gettin' all jiggy with it!
Very nice addition to your table saw sled. Thumbs up for sure!
+KSFWG thanks Dave - always appreciated!
A perfect RUclips Video ! Clear and concise. Good Video lighting and clarity. Short and Informative. A valuable jig. Several ancillary tips and tricks and a solid demonstration of the use and usefulness of the Jig. You have a new follower ! Thanks a lot.
I'll take that compliment any day, thanks - glad to have you here!
Nice job. 2 in 1 jig. I love it. I am sure I build one when I get my woodshop. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from California.
Hey Nick, your right, not too shabby! The double duty makes it worth the effort. Great job.
+billfromelma thanks much Bill!!
Functional and purrrty. Two good things. Set back and admire. Thanks. JimE
+Jim E always appreciated JimE!
This jig is a life saver, tnx Nick for sharing it with the world!!!
Thanks for checking it out!
Very tidy work. Well done. Like the Walnut splines.

Thank you you for making a video without music. Perfect!!!
I do what I can - some of mine have music so be careful
Very nice. Having a small shop, really appreciate multifunctional jigs
Space in the shop is always at a premium
watching this again, by far your jigs are the best very clean looking
thanks!
changed whatever to watched, damn you auto correct🤓
Very nice Nick. Great add on to the Super Sled.
always appreciated Russ!
Combining CA glue and wood glue in a joint like that is something I hadn't seen before. Cool tip!
+Toolify I dunno, it's a fairly old technique
+Nick Ferry He's just one of todays 10,000! :) xkcd.com/1053/
Very nice, very clean, beautiful useful jig. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great jig! I need to get my table saw sled refined, but after, this will be my next addition. Thanks for sharing. This will be extremely helpful!
glad you could get some ideas!
Hi friend. I am impressed how well done are all your jigs. Congratulations from Brasil.
Thank you
Several great tips on this one Nick! Love the trick with pre-drilling a shoulder for the key-way holes.
+Jeremy McMahan thanks Jeremy - works pretty slick!
The best jig ever, so simple and so great!!
thanks much!
That's awesome - it will make things so much easier. The simplest ideas are usually the best and this is brilliant. Thanks so much for doing your videos, you explain everything so easy and clear, even Forest Hump could make this !
+Dawn Treeby lol - thanks!
Nice job on the video editing. More enjoyable to watch when the project moves along as yours did.
glad you enjoyed it!
YourOldDog wet
Very nice! It's one of the most clean and functional tenon jig i've seen. I'm going to build one for myself.
Thanks much!
Clean, useful, compact and all put together quickly. Brilliantly done...I'm going to have to try this one.
Thanks Ryan - I'm sure you'll like it

Wow Nick, that a sweet bunch of jigs you've got there. Thanks for sharing.
+David Clauson much appreciated David!
WOW, another jig to make. Your keeping me busy Nick. Thank you for all your articles.

SOMETHING I WILL GET PLENTY OF USE FROM , THANK'S NICK

That's a winner Nick, heading home to start my build.

Hi Nick,
I’m a newbie enthusiast and all I can say is wow!
Have been following along for a couple of months and your explanations along with the quality of builds are top notch.
Thanks for sharing your experience and making my journey that much more fun and quality results.
No problem John - thanks for the kind words - glad I can be of some help as you're getting started at it
Thank you so much for your free access to this build. It looks like a wonderful help. Great job Nick
no problem - glad you like it!
Nice. I just finished my cross cut sled with the t-slot rails incorporated on them and this will make an awesome accessory to that.Yay!
Awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
Great design and a nice addition to your TS sled! I especially appreciated the glue tips in this video! Well done Nick!
+Benjamin Corderman thanks man - works pretty slick - glad you liked it!
Excellent jig. I loved your crosscut sled and made a similar version. This weekend will be used to create this and one or two other jigs and some improved router table and miter gauge fences. The Walnut is not too fancy, I enjoy making each jig its own piece of art.
Thanks - I’m the same many times - if you going to use it and be around it a ton why not make it nice
BEST VIDEO-EDITION EVER!!!! CONGRATULATIONS FROM ARGENTINA!!!!!
WOW thanks man!
Sweet, another useful jig. Really appreciate you sharing your content. Thanks Nick
+Dev Ogle thanks Dev!
As always, your work is clean and precise. I love the quality of your work, and your videos. Your attention to detail is inspiring!
I really appreciate the kind words Bryan - it's comments like this that keeps me motivated - glad you are enjoying what I'm doing!
And it's videos like this that motivate me to be a better wood worker. When you see this kind of quality it forces me to ask myself why I'm not achieving those kind of results. Is it because I don't have the tools to do it? Don't have the skill? It's content like this that motivates me to get out in the garage and push myself to build and try to achieve results at the same level.
well put - I like the concept of it being cyclical - my videos motivating you and your watching and commenting motivating me - what an awesome thing!
So far, I like the projects that I have seen you make, they look very clean and professional.
+FunWithGardening thank you kindly, much appreciated!
Awesome add on to the sled I made from your design. Keep sharing your ideas Nick! Love your work!
Thanks much - I’ve very proud of my design to combine sleds
good job that table saw sled is super nice
+slurmz123 thanks much!
Even a plywood triangle that is supposed to be a simple jig looks so beautiful. Holy pineapple. Good stuff! :)
+JWAM thanks - all in the details I suppose
+Nick Ferry Fixing glue squeeze-out on the inside of a jig says it all, I suppose.
JWAM it's a sickness
Love this! I like that it's a spline jig but in the other direction. Good stuff!
+Carter Wilson Workshop thanks man - yeah it'll do either side for both splines and tenons
Just Subscribed after watching 2 of your videos. You're a master craftsman. Thank you for the drawing.
Thanks for following along on my silly journey
Thank you for the free plans. Definitely going to build this after building your sled.
You’re welcome - let me know how it goes!
Very useful and well designed multipurpose jig Nick! I guess it helps to get glue on all our fingers to put those splines in. It does for me anyway.
+MRrwmac heck yeah - more sticky glue = more better, lol - thanks man!
Nice and usefull, thank you Nick. Greetings from Nicaragua
thank you!
Nick, you always make such nice looking jigs. So pristine! I love the Baltic birch also. Nice job brother.
much appreciated Mike!
Sehr gut erklärt und eine tolle Arbeit. Weiter so!!! Viele Grüße aus Deutschland / Hamburg
Danke, ich weiß das zu schätzen
Great design! seems like if you cut a piece that you intend on putting a 45° cut on you can use that sloped portion and then flip it over quickly to put in the splines.
you could in theory but the work piece would already have to be cut to exact length and I don't like the idea of the piece being able to be slid into the blade down the slope - not to mention the jig would have to be moved to make the bevel cut and then moved back to perform the spline cut
Nick what a good explaination you show on the subject you are showing now this noob going to make it myself thanks a lot.
Thanks - glad you found it useful!
Nick another neat build. My garage shop will have one of those jigs hanging from the wall very soon. Toggle clamps already ordered, for my build...
great, let me know how it goes!
this is awesome! i see now why you wanted the runners in the sled.
thanks - and I have a lot more planned
Nice job!!!! hugs from Spain!
thanks
Thanks, Nick. Very nice jig.
Thanks much
Great build! So simple and elegant and useful! Cheers man!
much appreciated as always man!
I like the tip regarding using the tablesaw wing as an assembly jig - lets hope my wing is 90 degrees...
+Marty Backe if not bust out the grinder!
simple and sturdy design - awesome job!
Thanks!
I like your builds very much. Fantastic work!
Thank you kindly
You have saved me at least 6 hrs work tomorrow gonna build it first thing and crack on then 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
very cool - glad I could help!
Hypotenuse...nice :-) . I don't think I've ever heard that in a woodworking video. Great looking jig Nick.
+David Gunn I don't say it every day but when I do, I say it with pride, lol!
I'm really glad Jay had you on his channel, which led me to your videos. Your attention to detail is amazing! Also love the Step Brothers quote lol. I don't know how I missed some of you woodworkers on here and am glad you all are working together and promoting each other, you all have a lot of talent to share.
+waynenocton thanks, that means a lot - I don't know if you listen to Jay, April and I on the podcast, but if you do, you would have heard he's coming to visit me in July as well as April - In July with April that is - should be some cool videos coming out of that! Glad to have you here!
+Nick Ferry I haven't gotten into the podcasts yet but I will check that out and I did see he is coming to visit yes.
Did we (You and Jay) just become best friends? Yep! Gotta love step brothers..
waynenocton been friends for almost two years - he's a funny dude - my fave Step Brother quote "now we'll have room for all of our activities!"

Great jig. I can see that coming in handy. Well done video, enjoyed watching.
thank you Russ!
Thanks for the build drawings - simple but highly effective design - look forward to exploring your channel
Thanks - glad to have you here - let me know if you have any questions!
Nick - Looking forward to a box joint jig to add to the awesome sled design.
its funny how the universe works. I had plans to make a video series on a simular idea, once my woodshop container conversion was completed. Then Stumpy nubs did it and I scrapped the idea because his ideas were better then my concept. Now I see yours and its even an improvement on what he did. We humans are evolving at a crazy rate! thanks for the good video!
+the Von Thompsons always cool to see different approaches to similar projects - even my friend Moy did one on the same day - ruclips.net/video/HDOPam2iYmI/видео.html
I really need to get my cross cut sled made.... then this. Another great project.
thanks Angie - I'm sure you'll love it - good hearing from you!

Great project Nick !
+RoboCNC Frees- & Graveerwerk thanks much!
Amazing video, Nick! Looks like a great ad on to your sweet sled!
+Braxton Wirthlin much appreciated Braxton!
Really nice jig... Great video as always.
+MySaw thanks, always appreciated!
very cool. I bet if you turn the jig 90 degrees (45 sloped towards the blade) you could do 45 splines on the outside corners of say a box or picture frame. very awesome thanks for sharing brother
+Art Connolly not a bad idea - I do have some other ideas for one in the fututre
Great jig Nick !
+The ShavingWood Workshop thanks much Tommy!
