The megabass hazedong shad is a great bait, but I would say my largest fish come on the magz micro goby, small crappie tubes, or super tiny curly tails. You would be surprised at how many big fish I have caught on the tiniest baits in my tackle arsenal.

Amazing fish! I want to go with my son this Friday but am not sure exactly where to go. We'd be East side of the lake but are fairly flexible. We're coming down from Bancroft area. Any tips on general location?

Georgina island area is a community hole, look for the boats if you dont have the fancy electronics and you should do well! They will likely be moved up into the shallower water as temps continue to rise

@@GospelTestimony thank you buddy! Goodluck out there, im sure you’ll do great. And remember, not all big fish like big baits, dont forget to try the small stuff, I find the biggest perch will hit the smallest bait in your tackle bag!

@@InformativeAngling Anytime - great videos! I will bring a bunch of different sized and types of baits, but will definitely bring some smaller stuff as well! Those fish you got during the eclipse were awesome.

@@InformativeAngling Quick question - I noticed that Sibbald's Point has a public launch. Would I have to go far out to get on the Perch?
