You can very easily replicate this with 2d sonar, I know because I have done it way before livescope was ever a thing, and lake trout guys do it all the time. Now if we’re talking about efficiency and time saved…live imaging takes that to the next level and yes it makes it 10x faster to do.

I personally love seeing it in videos and will have to put some more time into incorporating more in my videos! I also am having a tough time deciding how I should overlay the livescope clips, I have in the past overlayed it so that it looks almost like a greenscreen where the blue part of the livescope return is masked out and appears see through in my videos so you can see the bottom of the water column, the jig and the fish with everything else being removed. I also know some people just include the entire screen recording of the livescope, so would love to get feedback from viewers in terms of what style they prefer watching! Once again thank you for the kind words I appreciate it! Tight lin

The megabass hazedong shad is a great bait, but I would say my largest fish come on the magz micro goby, small crappie tubes, or super tiny curly tails. You would be surprised at how many big fish I have caught on the tiniest baits in my tackle arsenal.

You dont need livescope at all for this type of fishing, my whitefish opener video was just using a flasher. I really don't understand why people get so pressed, maybe they think blaming their failures on lack of livescope will make them feel better? Including livescope footage in my videos is just a way for the audience to get a better idea of what the fish is doing/how they are interacting with my presentation and honestly I could do this blind if I had to. If you're going to shit on livescope then you might as well shit on all electronics.
