SOLD! In Davis, CA, `74 Norton, black Commando fastback special

This video is missing the audio portion of me starting the bike from cold due to an editing error. The easiest way for me to correct that is to repost that video alone. It will appear as a separate new video on my channel.

Norton Commando, Mark llA, fastback special build.
Matching serial numbers, 318875, build month & year August, 1974
• Commissioned build by prominent Tucson, AZ pavement contractor and constructed by well-known vintage bike expert in the area with no regard for cost. Upgraded with as many improvements as possible. Among them:
• *BMW R100 front fairing with clock & voltmeter, custom mounting headlight ears and brackets.
• Racing AP Lockheed front brake caliper with larger rotor.
• Boyer/Bransden micro digital electronic ignition.
• Nickel plated frame, highly polished to look like chrome.
• Chrome plating and stainless steel used throughout build, makes this motorbike so easy to wipe down and keep clean.
• Handmade alloy fuel tank built by well-known fabricator.
• Internally drilled rocker spindles eliminate the crossover oil line above the cylinder head. The lefthand oil banjo is used to feed oil pressure to the custom mounted gauge.
• Dual Itallian Fiamm horns, will always be heard.
• Sealed 12V battery with higher output alternator.
• Vernier adjustable isolastics
• Koni rear shock absorbers
• Currently registered with clean CA title.
• Always stored indoors and maintained correctly.
• Only 8,020 miles, starts easily, runs and drives beautifully. Shifts on the right, 1 up and 3 down. Rear brake on the left.
*Note recent repair caused by transportation accident was made without restoring gold pinstriping on left of front fairing. It was thought best to leave that job to its new owner as the rear tail piece would also benefit from matching pinstriping. Please get in touch with any questions.

It's messed up, my daughter helped me shoot this using a new to her video editor...lo and behold there's no sound in the composite video. It will kick in later but I'm probably having to redo all of it. Ugh!
