Today, my 11-year-old son Liam takes the lead as he tries the Rockwell T2 SS razor for the very first time, while I complete my second full shave with the Yaqi Final Cut. Liam whipped up an amazing lather using Catie’s Bubbles Summer Solstice shave soap and the Simpson Trafalgar Synthetic Shaving Brush. It was a fun-filled shave with lots of laughs and another beautiful bonding moment!

Great shave and great video. I wish my dad would of did something like this with me when I was your sons age or younger. But my dad never used safety razors. He used bic disposables or whatever else he could get. So wouldn't of been able to do what your son is able to do.

@@Shave_and_chat it's a good thing you are doing. Boys need to learn the right way. I had to teach myself. Daddy left way before I got up in the morning. All we had was a Gillette Super Speed we shared. It wasn't too aggressive as we know now. I got my share of cuts though. I still get some weepers occasionally but I know what I did wrong. Most of the time it's using razors that are too aggressive. But I like those too. I'm going to try everything you know. I'm in my 60's and I've always enjoyed my wet shaving time. Good luck to you and the boy. Teach him well.
@@RichardE62 thank you for the kind words! I also taught myself to shave but it was with a Disposable Razor and I missed out on the bonding with my dad.
I feel what I’m doing with Liam is bringing us closer together and I hope I’m teaching him well. I have been teaching myself traditional wet shaving and through my mistakes I hope to help Liam not make them the way I have.
