I don't live in the U.K., but I am assuming that some of those previously on unemployment would have moved into requiring disability and aged care pensions, especially with the impacts of the pandemic. Also, sorry to be morbid, but I am wondering how many unemployed have died as a result of not being able to find affordable housing ,cooling, heating, etc.
Low unemployment figures are commonly used as a convenient fact. It hides other systemic issues negatively impacting on increasing numbers of people as a result of the government's token efforts, or neglect. So, when politicians parade unemployment figures as lower, to make their party look good, I always have concerns for the people involved who are making their stats appear good.

Excellent speech from Rachel. Given the catastrophe of the mini-budget and the fact that the Conservative MPs were originally in great favour, given that the party have now scrapped most of the policies therein, given that they have caused so much economic damage, they should contribute significantly to redressing the monetary black hole. Party funds. A high percentage of future donations. It is their fault. They need to pay.

I asked one gig economy worker, "why did you protest" ? He said.."cos we are going on strike".... I said.... "but that company that you are with, is in the USA".... So I said..."why are you protesting" ? The man protested. It does nothing. Cos it does not broadcast into international TV. Or into actually the country that the company resides in. As well as... he pays his tiny measley amount of gig economy wage... onto this "union membership". I thought that, this was a joke at first. I thought that the unions existed, because it was based on either nationalised companies, or even like public sector employees. But this man, paid into a deep deep hole. Hmm..... I didn't get it. Jeremy hunt literally tried his hardest to dismantle the NHS when he was the health minister, if you didn't know.
The "growth" he mentioned does not benefit any of the people who actually live and work here, because all of the tax dollars are misappropriated and embezzled by their party and the rest aren't invested in the areas that need funding.
    - The employment rate being up is because now not working full time or multiple jobs is tantamount to becoming homeless a statistic he conveniently forgot to mention has skyrocketed because of the housing crisis and lack of investment in social housing (literally by more than 6 times less than in 2010). The bankers that caused the 2008 financial crisis he claims his party saved us from are the same ones they just gave tax breaks and pay-rises to.
    - He said "we dealt with a global pandemic" which is just an absolute joke, the NHS and key workers dealt with it, while you and the Tory party embezzled money from the taxpayer giving billions away in dodgy contracts for bogus PPE, and gave companies the rights to fire part time employees and keep their foreign national executives safe on the taxpayer's Furlough scheme, and used the risk of spread to strip people of their right to protest. And told people they couldn't gather at Christmas and must wear masks all the while guzzling drinks and gathering in groups of more than 5 masks off.
    - Also he said they "led the world in support of Ukraine" when they've been laundering the Russian taxpayer's money for Putin since long before the multiple invasions, and they sat idly by as the Ukrainian prime minister begged for them to assist in the creation of a no fly zone to reduce the amount of civilian casualties while the bombs rained and continue to rain. Tories said they could help by sending £2.3bn worth of weapons to the country which is admirable, but I believe the Tory party saw it as an excuse to secure dodgy contracts with their donors who could practically pick their price.

That's his ambition. ie We pay lots of money to the layers of parasites that private health insurance imposes upon us. The NHS costs around 7% in management and admin overhead while private so-called health provision in the USA costs around 30%+++ in parasite costs.

One need only to look across the pond at the USA and how well private health services works. From Hunt's ambition we can draw two conclusions. One: The Tory's are only in power to enrich themselves and their ilk. Two: privatisation of public services is a failed model, and should be relegated to the past as such.

"This party protected the NHS" - um I think the massive winter backlogs (bigger than under Labour), the general long waiting times, and the inability to get NHS dental treatment (not a problem under Labour after they fixed it after inheriting the mess from Tories) would entirely disagree with him.

Also seeing how you're a big fan, please tell me her policies that would make her a great Chancellor?. Name me a few???. Preferably without googling first, since you know her winning policies so well to even fawn over her for the role of PM.
